Sucess with AMD installation
0

Question

I am using a Gigabyte 78LMT-S2P motherboard and a AMD FX-4100 CPU. I discovered why my installation could not get past the "PCI Configuration begin" message. The problem is with the built in graphics in my motherboard. I plugged in an old GE Force 9500 graphics card and my installation completed perfectly. No special flags were needed. I just typed "amd -v" and Bingo!

Thanks Niresh. This has been an enjoyable experience.
