@ Download this kext and then Go to > YOUR HARD DRIVE > System > Library > Extensions > IONetworkingFamily.kext > Contents > Plugins and drop the kext there

then repair permissions with kext utility and reboot

@Devonic I downloaded your file n extracted it. I get a contents folder from your zip

in System > Library > Extensions > IONetworkingFamily.kext > Contents > Plugins

there are 4 kext files named as

AirportAtheros40.kext

AirportBrcm4331.kext

AppleAirportBrcm43224.kext

IO80211NetBooter.kext

and i moved your file to Plugins folder and did repair disk permissions and reboot. But no luck. Is there anything else i need to do? Please help.

@ You put it in the wrong folder. I told IONetworkingFamily.kext NOT IO80211Family.kext

@Devonic Now i followed your instruction clearly. but still its not working. ISP, Internet and server shows failed.

There are other 9 different kext available in the plugins folder. please let me know if i need to delete those 9 files or not.

@ You don't need to delete them, what you need to do is to overwrite the kext that is already there.

@Devonic when i dropped your file "Contents" into Plugins folder, it doesn't prompt for overwrite. But already i have a kext named AppleBCM5701Ethernet.kext and i deleted it.

please tell me if anything i need to get my ethernet worked.

Once again thanks for your support..
