OS X Mavericks 10.9.0 - Desktop Font Problem
1 1

Question

Hello Niresh Community.

Recently I just installed this OS and it works perfectly for me. Everything is working, but the main problem is with my desktop. Actually the font of icons from desktop is a bit strange and cannot find an answer to fix it. I'll leave a proof with the bug or problem, how you want to call it.

Proof:

PC Specs:

Processor: AMD Sempron 140, 2.71 GHZ

Video: ATI Radeon HD 5570 1GB/128bit

RAM: 3GB DDR2, 800MHZ

Thank you!

I really appreciate for the post. I changed the language from Romanian to English US and nothing happened. I can't figure it out how to fix it.

PS: When I highlight one of the icons from desktop, that little bug from the font, just simply disappears.

I hope to fix it really soon, thank you!

The problem is only on at desktop and few parts of search bars. Seems to be fixed because I changed the desktop wallpaper with a black one and now I see the font clearly.

Change wallpaper and see. Change language forth and back, it may work also.

@Devonic

Sorry for my delayed post. Here's the picture:

Same problem here, in the right side of the bar, where's that X to delete. It's a bit glitchy or buggy, I don't know how to call it.

@moteofsun Your desktop looks fine.. Must be EDID injection problems (OSX not reading your display correctly). Use clover to inject your EDID. Steps on how to extract your EDID can be found here (just skip the graphics injection part and inject the EDID)
