Boot failure on my Mac Mini (Early 2009)
2 2

Question

I bought an old mac mini (early 2009) at a flea market.

I removed the 1Go and replaced by 2Go to use Mavericks.

I tried installing the original OS X Mavericks but I need an Apple ID to install and I don't want one.

So I looked for custom OS X and I found Niresh. I downloaded Niresh Mavericks and created an USB install drive.

So I reboot the Mac Mini and press the Alt or Option key and select my USB.

But it can't boot and I had this kind of logo:

What's wrong? Can Niresh work on an original Mac Mini?

@ Niresh's distro isin't supposed to work on a real mac, there are plenty of ther distros to serve your purpose. It installs EFI Bootloaders which you shouldn't attempt on a real Mac. So in short NO.
