Can't boot without USB and -x boot flag
2 2

Question

Hi,

I'm working on my first Hackintosh and have got through the installation stage, but then realized that I can only boot into Mavericks by using my Niresh Mavericks on USB, and the "-x" boot flag, otherwise I'd be stuck on the Apple logo and the spinning wheel forever...

When I run -v I got an error message that says "this is an unknown cpu model 0x3c, power management may be incomplete or unsupported" and "Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport". The complete error message is in the attached picture.

I have set my SSD to AHCI, xHCI to Auto, and xHCI and eHCI to enabled in BIOS.

And here is my hardware list:

MB: Gigabyte GA-H87M-D3H
CPU: Intel i7 4770K
Ram: Transcend DDR3 1600 8GB
SSD: Transcend SSD340 256GB

Can anyone please give me a clue about what's wrong here?

Thanks for any help. 1403950629__img_20140628_183934.jpg

Have you install Niresh distro?

Try to look in System/Library/Extensions if you have the NullCPUPowerManagement.kext

If doesn't, download and paste in the folder or use Multibeast to install

I browsed to the location as mentioned, and found NullCPUPowerManagement.kext in the Extensions folder.

Do I still need to replace this file?

I installed Niresh Mavericks on my system, but right now I can't get any Internet connection or USB stick to work.

Is there any other way to run Multibeast on the system?
