Question

Is it possible to install OSX-Mavericks.dmg in virtualbox in a windows 8 host?. virtualbox can´t boot with the OSX-Mavericks.dmg file

@Henry Wu Virtual Box has some limitations with Mac (Read This)

but VMWare is capable of running Mac OS X

My Advice is to Better go with VMWare You have to try with ISO File the DMG Wont Boot.

Is it for AMD cpu?, I have AMD Phenom II X4-920, "The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system" :(

yes i am on amd fx8320 with host operating system 10.9.1

but i told you virtualbox droped theyr support for mac guests on non mac hosts (linux, bsd, windows)

Only can on Mac OS X Hosts.

 

And secondary i give you link with complete machines for vmware player, that work excelent on windows and linux hosts.

what's your  proof  to say " virtualbox droped theyr support for mac guests on non mac hosts (linux, bsd, windows)"
