mavericks bootloader in yosemite

Question

hi, 

i previously installed the niresh mavericks distro on my amd pc

and it works flawlessly. But i am trying to dual boot mavericks and yosemite on the same hard drive, is there any way i can do it, i get the error mach_kernel not found,

You can partition your Hard drive then using the new 10.10 release, installing that on one partition, and then using the Mavericks release on the other partition.

 is there any way i can do it, i get the error mach_kernel not found, 

 

after install, did you copy the amd kernel into yosemite system? 

 

if not... 

 

Boot again from Install-Stick Yosemite with same flags ! 

 

then open terminal

enter: 

ls /Volumes  will show you name of devices 

 

cp -/Volumes/"Image Volume"/amd64 /Volumes/"Mac OS"/System/Library/Kernels/kernel

rm -rf /Volumes/"Mac OS"/System/Library/Caches

kextcache -/Volumes/"Mac OS"

 

Image Volume is the Volume that the Stick have for me 

/amd64 is the kernel that we used to copy into kernel folder

Mac OS is the name you have installed your Hackintosh System for me personal OSX
