Stuck at "Ack PM done" - VM Install with Virtualbox
1 1

Question

Hello my  PC specs are

-Computer = Sager NP8268 -S

-CPU = Intel i7-4810MQ @ 2.8GHz  (Haswell)

-Graphics = Intel HD Graphics 4600 / nVidia GeForce GTX 970M

Currently I'm trying to install a Yosemite VM through Virtual Box. Everything works fine until this line "Ack PM done".

Previously, the issue was with the VM needing to be tricked to think the CPU was something different. Shouldn't the /haswell boot command help with this now?

Otherwise will running the line in the vbox folder (this fixed Mavericks for me) "VBoxManage modifyvm <Name of virtual machine> --cpuidset 00000001 000306a9 00020800 80000201 178bfbff" hurt my performance because the VM thinks that it is using a different CPU?

Any other suggestions? Thanks. If any more information is needed, I will be happy to update.
