Dell Studio 1747 Laptop with Yosemite 10.10.1


Hi all,


I have Dell studio 1747 laptop with the following hardware :


ATI  VGA   HD 4650

Intel centrino wireless advanced  N 6200  network cad

2 HDD ( 500 GB  - 250 GB )

no bluetooth adapter



I need to install Osx Yosemite 10.10.1 on it and I need to let me know if there are any issues with hardware specially WIFI ( Intel centrino wireless advanced  N 6200  network cad)

and VGA card

I already downloaded all Yosemite 10.10.1 imaged ( ISO - DMG ) and other utilties for USB boot

let me clear you its very simple guide if you follow

1.Download Yosemite & clover boot loader(BDU utility),make a separate usb in widows and install bdu clover and you need to edit the clover config list and add a fb name(please find a link of ATI4670 SECTION FOR MORE DETAIL) you can use the same config.plist from that section. and replace in usb clover efi section.

2.install Yosemite=>in customize section unselect the ''backup graphics option'' and install in the drive you want.

3.boot with the usb clover made and I hope u will reach at login credi..


for wifi will not work you need to find driver kext if available other wise buy a usb wifi
