Amd Radeon 8470D - Mavericks

Hello.

I managed to get Mavericks work on this spec:

CPU: AMD APU A6-6400K 3.9GHz

MB: Gigabyte F2A88XM-HD3

RAM: Corsair 8GB 1600MHz

GPU: Integrated AMD Radeon 8470D

I can get full monitor resolution adding the â€Graphics Mode†thing, but I can't find any kext for this. Also, tried a kext from a ATI Radeon 7xxx I think, edited the Device ID and still not working.

Can you help me out? Thank you very much!

Maybe it is not supported. But! Is there a way to somehow inject it or enable it like NVEnabler for NVidia?

Is there anyone who wish to help and can help me get this integrated graphic card working?

I mean helping with DSDT patches / patching, or patching kexts, or trying to port drivers, or anything?

Nope. I only get the monitor resolution (1080p) and that's all. I get 7MB of VRAM.

Well, they work when Clover starts, but when I get to the login screen in Mac, they don't work anymore.

--- EDIT ---

I made them work using Clover Configurator, but still 7 MB of VRAM, though, it is detected as AMD Radeon HD 7600m Series

Oh, no problem. Thanks for coming back.

--- EDIT ---

I use FakeID of AMD Radeon HD 7600m Series like: 0x68401002 or 0x68411002

Here is some log:

The VRAM is still 7MB.

When I use Load VBios it gets to:

AMDLombokGraphicsAccelerator: * Device in slot: SLOT-1 * --- or something like that

But it restarts right after this line.

I am having the same exact problem, have A4-7300 with the same exact integrated graphics. The Framebuffer varies depending on the monitor size I plug into it, so smaller resolution gets smaller Framebuffer. 1080p has minimum of 7MB.

As far as Im aware, there is no .kext, nor a way of injecting DSDT with it, as it doesn't show up on in the IORegistryExplorer - there is PCI0 device, but no GFX0 device - as it should be.

I tried forcing it through Chameleon Wizard into the .boot file, but with no luck. Tried about 15 different ATIconfig personalities, but with no difference.

Did you manage to get it going, or are u still stuck on that?
