Could not unpackage Essentials.pkg
1 1

Question

Hi, pretty self explanatory, when I try to install I get an error saying that the installer couldn't unpackage Essentials.pkg. Is this a general error, or is it something to do with my laptop model?

I have an ASUS X53E and unfortunately cannot access the exact part models for the different components. The best I can do is Intel WiFi, Graphics i5 CPU and I think chipset. Atheros LAN, Realtek Audio. 128GB SSD, 8GB RAM.

Thanks.
