When you reboot they still appear like that? May i subjest installing again the graphic drivers maybe that would fix the issue.

Or go into diskutility and scan the drive and fix permission and reboot .maybe it would fix it

this is generally a graphics Issues most of time is solve by a restart ...

Yes I checked it by adding a widget to dashboard and i get those ripple effects....

goto system preferance/display/colour/ select generic RGB try this may workss 

 

 

better way to finding qe/ci  use vlc player it automatically tell you (IMO)

Did as you said @Deepak but didn't  solved my problem...

 

Icons are sometimes displayed properly and mostly displayed improperly....

Changing screen resolution fixes this problem but for that boot onlyIf I restart or boot up again I have to again change the screen resolution to fix it

QE/CI is not my problem..

My problem is that even if i am getting full qe/ci, lauchpad icons are still pink in color they are not being refreshed
