upgrade Upgrade from Yosemite to El Capitan
2 2

Question

Just a question that hopefully will come in handy when the right answers come up...

When a El Capitan Hackintosh OS comes out to the public will there be a way where Yosemite users can "Upgrade" without having to remove Yosemite and backing everything up then a clean install?

Because i have just become a Hackintosh user who has just installed the latest Hackintosh version of Yosemite (from all that i can tell) and i don't want to have to remove the partition and back up all of my things to be able to get El Capitan running on my machine.

Any kind of answer or solution will come in handy!

If not ill have to wait until it actually comes out...

Thanks!

Connor

not likely, since the boot configuration on hackintosh does not match that of OSX machines. I've yet to upgrade without having to backup and re-install new osx.
