WARNING: VoodooHDA Killed my laptops speakers!

So after running the initial Niresh Yosemite installation from USB, the computer restarted, and as it booted from the harddrive there was a horrible microphone feedback sound coming from the speakers.
I used some blu tack over my Samsung laptop's built in microphone hole and it helped reduced it a lot.
Unfortunately it wasn't enough because now, if I have the volume to the speakers set at 1/4 and up, I get horrible distortion.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to have Max Input Gain as the default setting for VoodooHDA is an idiot!

I now have permanently fucked speakers.

If you are installing Yosemite Niresh to a laptop, I urge you to disable Voodoo HDA, by hitting Customise prior to installation.
