Question

Installing Mavericks on Amd A8-3500M LLANO

Hi, first of all, I would like to say that this forum is awesome, great support!

I am currently trying to install Mavericks 10.9.0 Niresh on My HP Pavillion G6-1220SA

SPECS:

CPU - AMD A8 3500M

HDD - OCZ AGILITY 3 RUNNING IN IDE (AHCI WON't WORK ????)

GPU - AMD RADEON HD 6620G

6GB RAM - 1333MHZ

SECONDARY HDD - 160 SATA HDD

Partition Layout - see attachments

My issue lays at the booting process of the installer: still waiting for root device

Is it possible to use an IDE Kext of some sort, maybe some boot flags?

Currently booting with "amd -v" without quotation marks!

Regards,

Mohamed

If I boot a USB with the ISO burned to it it gets stuck at ~ "Previous Shutdown Cause: 5"

The first post involved booting an iso of HDD with Easy2Boot!
