After Upgrade to Yosemite 10.10.5 no correct USB Sound
        Hello,
After I have upgraded to 10.10.5, the sound from the USB sound card does not work properly anymore.
The Kext AppleUSBAudio can not find the Kext IOAudioFamily at startup, although it is present and is loaded at startup.
Under 10.10.1 everything worked without problem. MacOS should support compatible USB sound card plug and play. In some Kext is probably a mistake.
I hope you all can help me.
        Best regards,
        Hello

Asus X450JB Stuck At Apple Logo Without Any Error Code
Hi ! My Friend planned to make his own hackintosh, and suddenly got this problem.

        Spec  (Asus X450JB) :

        Intel Core i7-4720HQ
        8GB DDR3L Dual Channel ( 4 x 2GB)
        Nvidia GT940M + Intel HD 4600
        2TB HDD
        Yosemite-Zone Distro, UEFI Install Mode

Instalation went really smooth until the end. We reboot, got clover launch perfectly, then we boot to Mac that we've installed earlier then suddenly we got apple logo for about 4 seconds then restart. I've tried several bootargs ( -v nv_disable=1 kext-dev-mode=1 npci=0x20000 / npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUID=0 ).

        Upgrade to Sierra from Yosemite-Zone
Hello there! I am new to hackintoshing, and I just installed Yosemite-Zone on my computer: Dell Inspiron 530
-1.99 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
        -3 GB 664 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
-NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 1024 MB

I was wondering how I could update to Sierra from my existing installation without loosing any data. I tried to use the App Store installer, but when I clicked restart, it stayed with a black screen and the mouse for a long time, until it restarted, but it didn't do anything. I also tried to boot into the drive labeled 'Recovery' but I got a crossed out circle. I was able to boot back into Yosemite, but no Sierra. Any ideas? Thanks!
        -Nathaniel

Still waiting for root device ... again
        Hi,
this is another question concerning "still waiting for root device". Like many others I feel like I read every tutorial or hint in every forum.
I try to boot the yosemite installer from my pen drive, always getting stuck on "still waiting for root device".
the pen drive: Kingston data traveler 8GB, created with TransMac, only used with usb 2 ports
        cpu: AMD Athlon II X2 250 3Ghz
        board: ASRock N68-VS3 FX
chipset: Geforce 7025, southbridge: nforce 630a
        bios: AMI P1.8
        I use the following boot flags: \amd64 -v npci=0x2000 pcirootuid=0 USBBusFix=Yes

        I get stuck here (Screenshot):

Cannot load Clover; hangs at Scan Entries
I was in Windows for a bit and decided to reboot after rolling back a touchpad driver, after that clover just hangs at Scan Entries. I cant get past it but I can boot into windows when I hit a key and get into the EFI menu (I think thats what that is called) and I select boot from file (this is through clover EFI menu on BIOS laptop) and select EFI and choose the windows efi from a folder within the EFI folder, it boots but then hangs as well, the hard drive will just stop seeking seconds after full boot, so I cant check clover from there, I tried to boot into mac os from there but I cant find its entry. I dont see it in the EFI partition and my other partition which has no label (must be my windows partition) will hang the EFI menu when I select it. I was only once able to get clover to load but that was after a full hard drive scan from BIOS which got cut off because my battery died (I forgot I didn't plug it in) and when clover loaded for whatever reason, my hackintosh partition didn't show up, but recovery was there, I booted into that and I opened disk utility to run first aid on the hackintosh partiton, but it wouldn't mount. So I then went into an Ubuntu DVD and tried to mount there and it said it couldnt due to a block error. I cannot understand why this is happening but it somehow completely compromised my ability to boot into any OS. I ran more Full Hard drive tests in BIOS and all tests pass (quick, full, SMART). I just cannot understand this. Please help, I don't want to reinstall El Capitan and everything else again.

I have clover 4012 installed on an HP HDX16 1370US notebook
Intel T7250 CPU (had to downgrade because I broke last CPU)
        4 GB DDR2 800MHz ram
        Seagate hard drive 500GB
I will provide more details upon request

UPDATE: I was able to fix the error by removing my Hackintosh partition, Windows said it was corrupt and all tools I could access had no ability to fix it, so I had to reinstall. And somehow when I removed the Hackintosh partition, windows became unbootable with error inaccessible boot device. I am currently running scans to see if I can fix it without removing it as well. Last hard drive sector scan reported all sectors were OK. Yay technology...
