[solved] Vmware mouse offset/problems

Recommended Posts

For those who installed vmware tools, and got mouse problems (in my case I had a mouse offset, so when I clicked somewhere, it clicked 1 inch to the left).

Here is the fix:

EditPreferencesInput "Optimize mouse for games" = Always

Now it should work.

VMWARE 10 by the way,

Hi there,

Soon I am going to make a tutorial on how to install mavericks in vmware.

But I see that you managed to get it installed. What you can try to do is this: edit virtual machine settings ==> options (the tab next to hardware) ==> general: use microsoft windows 7 x64

By the way, did you installed the latest darwin tools iso (vmware tools)?

Kind regards

Hello,

I solved in this way:

VM Edit Settings > Options > General option: use Other > Apple Mac OSX 10.7 (64-bit)

Not sure if you were being sarcastic but there's no such option!

    • I have working audio, graphics and network on this 10.13  Now store has sent me "security update" which I believe is 10.13.3.  Has anyone done this via store? What do I need to do before I install it? I have issues loading EFI so have to always manually mount it (Clover configurator and EFI mounter both fail) but using terminal and command "open /efi" I am able to mount and make changes to my config.plist too.
