Maverick 10.9.0 USB is not detected

Question

I made a bootable USB for installing OS X Maverick 10.9.0 but my notebook did not detect it.

USB was made by using PowerISO 5.8 and OS X Maverick 10.9 ISO file.

When I opened up the ISO file. I found that all the contents have 'hidden' attribute enabled.

Please suggest some solution.

I faced this prob very much. Well there are three tools to try :-

1. win32diskimager.exe

2. Transmac

3. BDUtility.exe (this method requires an additional usb flash drive >512mb)

If all above fail, download nireshML.iso (10.8.5) burn on DVD and boot from it then select mavericks usb at niresh/iboot menu.

Thank you
