Problem with Sound and Flash Player

Recommended Posts

hello, I'm DarkMarkus88.

My system contains:

Motherboard: ASUS M4A79XTD EVO (especially the VT1708s onboard sound.)

Processor:      AMD Phenom II X6 - 1100T

RAM:              8 GB of Corsair 1333 mhz RAM.

SSD:               OCZ Vertex 2 (60 GB)

Distro:             Niresh12495's 10.9 Mavericks

SMBIOS:        MacPro5,1

Well i pretty much got the distro and install working, with the exception of 2 things.

1: The sound kext (VoodooHDA.kext version 2.8.4) recognizes my sound card and does playback. But crackles/stutters/delays at playback. Tried different kexts, previous voodoos, specials made for VT1708s. All didnt work.

Here's my IORegistryExplorer screen:

Can anyone point me in the direction of what I can do about it? Or maybe knows a solution?

Even with a bluetooth box hooked on it, it still crackles/stutters/delays. Bit less, but the problem remains.

I used different programs, Spotify, tried Youtube, VLC with MP3 and MKV's.

2: The Adobe Flash Player keeps freezing the whole computer.

Whenever I visit a site which has Flash-content on it (Youtube ofcourse, but also simple Flash Objects) it just freezes and I need to reboot.

I tried version 12 and 13 of Adobe Flash Player without result.

Any thoughts on this?

Greetz from DarkMarkus88

Download, run it. Post your device id and vendor id for sound card.

I will upload a customised VooDooHDA.kext for your sound card and then those crackles will may go.

Here is your VooDooHDA :

Uncompress it and install using "Kext Wizard"

But, before installing it, uninstall/remove AppleHDA from /System/Library/Extensions

and uninstall/Remove previous VooDooHDA from /System/Library/Extensions and VooDooHDA pref pane.

If it works, report back and save a copy of it for your future Hackintosh for your system.

Hmm, do you have VooDoo pref Pane in System Preferences ?

If it is then open it and slide iGain to 0. It a reason too.

For flash try chrome, as it has inbuilt flash support.

I did it already.

Looking at your picture again, why its so red?

Can you give me a picture of your Graphics/Display property?

For this you need to go About This Mac->More Info->System Report->Graphics/Display

Well I've made a screenshot, and its still skippy.

The graphics shows that it can see 2 monitors, but when I put on the second monitor (tv) its not getting any signal.

Any idea why?

    • I booted from the USB, selected "Yosemite zone", but this brings me back to the original problem. It is freezing on the hackintosh logo. Is there any way to solve this.
    • Well, the pkg is beginning to install High Sierra on my SSD, but then stops with the error code "could not be installed on this computer"
    • I followed your tutorials which seems to be 1000% easy as its usually around the same as TonyMac, except your installs requires less to do and youve done most of the work too the package which makes it installing for us very easy. Now, the pic below shows a whole bunch of errors and I dont know why. Ive searched these forums and just like the title here, there is none which is odd, because from your tutorials, this shouldnt happen and it seems no one else is running into this problem, HOWEVER, if they did post something like this, Im 1, looking for the fix on high sierra, not sierra or tammy or roger or lutherin, 2 they need to check their titles again because its not helping anyone. I will say I did try installing Sierra Hackintish Zone version and it works all the way up to right after it installs, it tells me "it cannot be installed on this computer", SO....sigh, idk       So, to conclude, I do appreciate the devs here and much respect. Thanks for doing this. But guys, please help a bruh out and tell me how to fix this. Im using windows 10 as my main so do not tell me to go to do nothing on a mac, its the whole point of me coming here is to hackintosh. I do follow instructions fairly           well consider I teach Programming to the Military. My god bless this post soul too tbh <3
    • Hello, I want to know what I have to do to install Kexts, use clover configurator, install bootloader, change resolution and how to use multibeast according to my hardware. I'm new to this mac configuration process. For now my hackintosh is pure, with no driver installed wifi, ethernet, graphics etc .. Sometimes when I start hackinstosh gives the Kernel Panic and stops loading on the apple screen, but I reboot and load normally. And also after a few minutes using the macOS it freezes the screen. I used the Hackintosh Zone Niresh Sierra because it was the only one that successfully installed on my notebook. My hardware is: Notebook Samsung Expert x23 Intel HD Graphics 5500 I5-5200U Processor Nvidia Geforce 910M 2GB 8 GB RAM HDD 1TB Bluetooth
