Installation fails with error on Core-i3-3240 Ivy Bridge

Recommended Posts

Good time to everyone!

Trying to install Niresh Mountain Lion 10.8.5 on my hackintosh. Hardware is following:

* Intel Core i3-3240 3.4GHz Ivy Bridge, HD2500
* Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2P-V H61

* DDR3 4GB PC3-10600 (1333MHz) TWINMOS

* Seagate 1TB 7200rpm 64MB Baracuda SATAII/SATAIII

Motherboard uses Dual UEFI.

Tuned as said there
http://www.macbreaker.com/2012/08/set-up-hackintosh-gigabyte-uefi.html

So.. DVD starts fine, I can format disk and start installation. And I see 'error occured during installation' on 18 minutes left. No logs.

Is it possible to handle with it?
Maybe enable logs?

I tried to boot with: -x -v. And had the same result.

(My DVD was written especially carefully on speed 4x.)

Any help! I REALLY NEED THIS HACKINTOSH.

I've read about compatibility there
http://www.macbreaker.com/2012/01/is-your-computer-hackintosh-compatible.html

And I suggest my hardware is suitable. Am I right?
Maybe HD2500 is the problem?

If I add suitable graphics card, will the error will be resolved?

Maybe i should try different builds of Hackintosh? But which of them?
I have no PC with Mac OS X installed, so I can handle only with ISOs.
I tried to write dmg also with UltraISO, but it hasn't booted.

Please help, any advices will be appreciated..

    • Hello everyone,  I'm trying to install High Sierra (with AMD support) on my AMD 4500m Lenovo G505s laptop. When booting from Clover in EFI with i get some really fast screen log then the pc reboots. Now, i know there isn't a way you could help me without some info/logs, unless i'm missing a major malfunction known on these kind of laptops, so, do you know a way i could prevent it from rebooting in order to at least understand what is causing this problem? Do you think even trying to put OSX on this laptop is worth it? Thank you.
    • Hello, i am trying to install High Sierra on my ASUS X75VB but i am getting multiple errors with the ACPI.
      I believe it is CPU related?

      Mainboard: HM76 (X75VB SOCKET 0)
      CPU: Intel Core i5 3320m (Not the original CPU of this laptop!)
      GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000 & NVIDIA 2GB Geforce 740M
      RAM: DDR3 8GB
      Storage: 120GB SSD (SATA-2)

      I have used the DSDT.aml & SSDT.aml from the following resource:
       https://github.com/xxx10101xxx/ThinkPad-X230-macOS/tree/master/i5-3320M

      My config.plst can be found here:

      Thanks in advance!

    • I have Yosemite Zone working on Virtualbox fine.  After downloading High Sierra Zone there is only a dmg and no ISO.  I tried converting the dmg with hdiutil but it goes to 8GB and I get "no bootable media" in Virtualbox.  Has anyone been able to do this yet?
