Login Issue

Question

Hi, I'm having a login issue, where I input the password for my user. For some reason when I type out the letters, it's adding extra characters in the box then what i'm actually typing. I type 1 letter and 4 or 5 letters show up on screen, preventing me from logging in at all.

I use a wireless keyboard and don't really have access to a wired keyboard right now to see if that's an issue.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I was able to login fine for a few days.

I haven't made any changes since rebooting into the OS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I solved the issue. I set my processor speed in BIOS to the fastest performance to test something out, this is what caused the problem. As soon as I set it back to normal I was able to login normally again.
