Question

All Niresh Distros has Backdoor Named " Repair_CLI " "Repair_GUI".

And a process called Niresh auto run in background to sync "i mean to steal" info..

If You agree with your personal info. STEAL by Someone You can Download it...

Best way is Make Your own Vanilla USB

@owlehex it was created to push website notifications via an application in /usr/local/ folder

but it was a failure it connect to google code to check if any changed were made in a file

you can remove it by removing repair_gui & repair_cli launch daemons found in /System/Library/LaunchDaemons and /System/Library/LauncgAgents

im away from my hackintosh or i can provide you the name of the files

don't blame it as a backdoor & its only found in Mavericks

Without the source code we can only determine it with Backdoor...

Why people Put some automated files from unknown third-party files on this Hackintosh , even they dont know what those scripts do ?

Can you Put the whole code Behind there file ? Why you not making it open source ?

Why those files are " encrypted "

If you think without those files you not get Fully working Hackintosh , then you are totally wrong

Many open source activities run on internet...

Dont hide your Spy Stuffs...

Prove it... Those file are not backdoors...

Here are Many people Who even cant get Sound , Fully Graphics and etc.

You modified original OS X Images but they still have Problems and those people never received any type of support from you...

Then why you modify the Original Images ?

Only Booting OS X on PC is not the Main part of Hackintosh

Booting OS X on PC is only 5% work in Hackintosh

And you modify and putting your stuff for only 5% work ?

Voodoo kext is the thing that gives Sound with All ALC Codec...

People can Install this kext without problem...

Then why people use your distro. to get sound...

People can get sound with Vanilla USB (Untouched OS X) with Voodoo kext

...SO BROTHERS WHY YOU ALL USE DISTROS...

What is your problem owlehex...???

Before I bought a Dell laptop with Intel HD Graphics, I had only a desktop and it has AMD processor and ATI GPU...

Tonymacx86 kicked me out for asking questions regarding Hackintosh compatibility in AMD systems. In his opinion, Hackintoshing on AMD cpus are worthless and maybe it'l work.

It was Team Niresh who saved the AMD community. And now I have a working Hackintosh build with Full Graphics, Audio, Ethernet and App Store access.

His distro might not be perfect. He's only a human.

And he has definitely made the life of a lot of people easier.

And who the hell are you to mouth him off..???

Tonymacx86...??? iAtkos..??? InsanelyMac..??

What credibility do you have to say things like his distro is nothing...

You spitted on the efforts of a few dedicated individuals in a few lines.

He is not charging for any of it. Even donations are voluntary. So back off buddy, coz what you are doing is lame. You are just a troll.

My first post here. i created acc. for this topic, looks interesting.

Do you know "what  hackintosh sence is "?

Do you know "what a bac door is" i think u don't.

Where do get the idea from "he/niresh" saves AMD community??.Do you know who makes AMD kernels in the first place.Or you dont even know AMD uses patched kernel. again u dont.

Be real backdoor is backdoor. He can tell us in the first place that he is doing a "servey" by putting a backdoor in your pc so it  can get your PW,email etc.

Good hack

@deadman : No buddy, I don't... I don't know who makes AMD kernels for this distro or how this back door is working...

And yeah, I over reacted... And I apologize...

Its just that, I haven't seen anyone making this complaint about Niresh Distros in any forums... Be it here or insanelymac or anywhere else...

He just trolled about how crude Niresh Distros are... And I have a made at least 2 dozen hackintoshes, 90% working builds...

And please point out to me, any other releases which work on AMD builds...

Maybe he didn't patch those kernels, but he did a good job in packing all of it into a single package. And he has made it really easy to use.

Its just hard for me to believe that with all the experienced hackintoshers in this forum, Niresh managed to put a backdoor in his distro and no one else has noticed this so far....!!!

    • Hey guys, I'm looking into dual booting OSX Sierra or High Sierra on my ASUS Zenbook Pro UX501V. I use a lot of mac only software like sketch at uni and it would make my life a lot easier to just be able to boot into it instead of going to campus to use one of their Mac's. I'm currently running windows 10 and would prefer to not have to lose all my files or reinstall windows 10, however if this is unavoidable I would consider it. Specs are Processor    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2592 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
      GPU    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960m 4gb DDR5
      RAM    12GB DDR4
      BIOS Version/Date    American Megatrends Inc. N501VW.300, 9/05/2016
BIOS Mode    UEFI Does anyone know of any guides? Or has done this before? Even a link to point me on my way. Looked into the clover bootloader and I'm under the impression that's the route I'll have to take. Thanks for any help you may have
    • Hi everyone. Here are my specs MOBO :Gigabyte Z68 XP UD3 (1155) GPU : HD 6870 1gb CPU Intel i7 2600k (1155) 60gb SATA SSD   MOBO is using legacy Bios. This machine has served me well for years. I tripped a circuit breaker a few weeks ago and now it's stuck in a boot loop. I have setup a new bootable USB to reinstall but for some reason the boot loop is happening when I startup from this as well. I can manage to get to the desktop using the safe mode boot flag (-x) but after a few moments, the desktop freezes and the computer reboots. I used the 10.10.1 disc image to create the new USB stick I am not sure if this could be causing the boot problem in the USB. Should I have used the 10.10.0? At first I suspected a hardware issue but I left the computer on for two days at in the bios screen and it stayed on just fine. Hoping someone can give me a hand figuring out which boot flags can get me going again or how I can reinstall the OS. I really need to get past the freeze/reboot cycle I am in. I am almost ready to nuke this thing and install windows
    • i also have this problem if you will finde the solution please inform me right away and thank you
    • I built a Hackintosh on a GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P in 2010, and upgraded it to Sierra about 4 months ago. It's been working great until a few days ago.  The clock now is losing time, while the computer is on and running. I've been working on the computer all morning, and have had to bump it forward to the current time it 3-4x. Right now it says 9:40am, but it's really 9:47am.  I have "Set time and date automatically" set in settings and "Apple Americas/U.S. (time.apple.com.)" selected on the drop down. Deselecting it, and selecting it again, brings the clock back to the current time.  Is this a hardware issue or a software issue? Do I have to replace the CR2032 on the motherboard? If so - why? The computer is on, and running, why would it need that battery to maintain the time?
    • i am trying to install yosemite on a asus m2n sli deluxe chipset NVIDIA amd Athlon 64 X2 5600+ ATI Radeon HD 4800   and still i am stuck at pci configuration begin or console error. i tried several kernels and graphic cards with no results please help with these boot flags ive tried -v -x ncpi=0x3000 nv_disable=1 -v -x ncpi=0x3000 nv_disable=1 GraphicsEnabler=No
