"No bootable device -- Please restart system"

Question

imacguy    1

Hi, I am trying to install Mac OS X 10.10 on my Toshiba Satellite L840D with an AMD A8 Processor. After writing the DMG file on my 32 GB Sandisk USB stick using Win32DiskImage, when I try to boot it, I receive an error message with a black screen saying "No bootable device -- Please restart system". I have followed all steps, including switching the SATA mode to AHCI and enabling USB legacy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
