Fate sucks! Please help!

Recommended Posts

I recently downloaded the Yosemite-Zone (.dmg) as given by this site and did everything to install. I used TransMac and tried to boot it up, but my laptop won't boot from it with every BIOS settings tweaked to boot from a USB Pen. However, I could Install Yosemite on my other pc but couldn't boot due to many error messages.(DSMOS Has arrive and many more, differing on the bootflags i had inserted)THinking that my PC was not good enough for a Yose,

I downloaded Mountain Lion (Niresh OSX-10.8.5.iso) and hoped for everything to work but you know, fate my laptop told that "Any Operating System was not found in the device. Try booting after removing all the devices without an Operating System) .

Yet again, the installer was recognized by my other pc, but I couldn't install due to Kernel panics (System uptime in nanoseconds xxxxxxxxxxx) I tried all possible bootflags. things didn't work out.!

Any help would be appreciated.. btw, I installed Win10 on both of my system via a pendrive itself. so :(

Specs: Laptop

Lenovo Flex 2(14)

Intel i5, nvidia 820M (Ik that this won't work with hackintoshes, but i don't care), 4GB ddr3 RAM

PC

Lenovo AllInOne

Intel i3, 3GB ddr3

(ML required specs of 1+GB RAM :( )

Well If you have tried everything you can and every possible boot flag applicable there isnt much you can do. Best bet try it on virtualization. VMware Workstation OR VirtualBox...

or wait around till new versions with new fixes are around.

all the best mate

    • Hello everyone,  I'm trying to install High Sierra (with AMD support) on my AMD 4500m Lenovo G505s laptop. When booting from Clover in EFI with i get some really fast screen log then the pc reboots. Now, i know there isn't a way you could help me without some info/logs, unless i'm missing a major malfunction known on these kind of laptops, so, do you know a way i could prevent it from rebooting in order to at least understand what is causing this problem? Do you think even trying to put OSX on this laptop is worth it? Thank you.
    • Hello, i am trying to install High Sierra on my ASUS X75VB but i am getting multiple errors with the ACPI.
I believe it is CPU related?

      Mainboard: HM76 (X75VB SOCKET 0)
CPU: Intel Core i5 3320m (Not the original CPU of this laptop!)
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000 & NVIDIA 2GB Geforce 740M
      RAM: DDR3 8GB
      Storage: 120GB SSD (SATA-2)

I have used the DSDT.aml & SSDT.aml from the following resource:
       https://github.com/xxx10101xxx/ThinkPad-X230-macOS/tree/master/i5-3320M

My config.plst can be found here:

      Thanks in advance!

    • I have Yosemite Zone working on Virtualbox fine.  After downloading High Sierra Zone there is only a dmg and no ISO.  I tried converting the dmg with hdiutil but it goes to 8GB and I get "no bootable media" in Virtualbox.  Has anyone been able to do this yet?
