How can i change partitions size of my boot disk?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

as in the title, i need to change the partition size of my boot disk, where i have installed the OS X Maveriks. I have only 2 partition, 1 for the system and 1 for my files but during the installation i did an error because i have give too little space to the system.... and now i want to change this!

I have downloaded and installed iPartition and Stellar Partition Manager but these sosftware can't change the patition because they can't unmount the disc that's in use! They say me that i need to create a DVD bootable disk but i'm trying yo do this from 2 days without succes!!

Please help me, in which mode can i change the partition size (without losing my data and my system)?

I hope in a good reply from you!

Thank you all very much in advance!

Luca
