Successful installation but can't boot "RTC: Lost Battery"

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!
I'm having some trouble when trying to boot up Mac OS X from the Yosemite zone bootloader, I've installed Mac OS in a different hard drive than Windows. When I installed Yosemite I used the boot flags "/amd64 npci=0x2000 -V" and it completed smoothly. However, when I try to boot into my Mac OS X partition from the yosemite zone bootloader It will always get stuck. Verbose mode shows a message saying RTC: Lost Battery Power. Also, when I try to add boot flags to the yosemite bootloader it will show "can't find /amd64", so I have to add the boot flags by booting Mac OS X from the Yosemite Zone USB installer. Here is what the verbose mode shows:

My specs:

Geforce GTX 660 OC 2GB

AMD FX-8350

GIGABYTE GA-990XA-UD3

PD: recently I'm having some issues with my ram, for some reason my computer only says that half of the ram is usable, the other half is "Hardware Reserved", I don't know if this has something to do with my problem. Thank you so much.

    • Hello! Yesterday I successfully installed Yosemite (Yosemite Zone distro) on my laptop (Sony Vaio FIT 15E with an i3-3217U). The only thing that doesn't work is the wifi card (BCM43142). I found in my house another wireless card, AzureWave AW-NB047H. Is this wireless card compatible with macOS?   Sorry for my bad english and thanks in advance. ~IOStream
