Windows System Reserved Partition Not About Post OSX Install

Recommended Posts

Right so after quite some time and a few installs I got my OSX build working (yay) however I have done a few installs now for varies reasons and everytime the System Reserved Partition for Windows (Which you use to boot) keep disappearing and it's really rather annoying.

Has anyone else found this problem? And for anyone doing a fresh install maybe install OSX first if you can and if not then make sure you do a back up first (I have a few HD's so luckily I could install windows elsewhere and then back everything up but it's still a pain)

Okay I have just done a test and you can repair windows using a windows disk to get the boot partition back, still pretty odd this happens though, is it just me?

    • @MYLX You should do it via BIOS & I'm glad you made it work
    • Check your BIOS Settings, Enable Executive disable bit in BIOS You have a latest processor (2017 released) you should try Sierra or High Sierra if possible   Sometimes this guide may work https://www.hackintosh.computer/37/yosemite-zone-amd-guide/
