Graphic-resolution, Sound, Trackpad and WiFi

Recommended Posts

Hello guys,

First of all I like to thank you. This is a nice work!

I mean my Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 530 is running with Maverick, you are making great things happen!

The Hacking-Book needed its 2 trails:

1. Trail: The installation was very easy and worked perfect, but I took the USB-Stick to early out.

The installation was still counting backwards and I had to shut down the Book by self.

Then by booting from your interface, I saw the turning counter under the apple logo but there was the moment and the display was turning to black. Out of the forum i tried some things but success-less.

2. Trail: I did the installation again but I was waiting until the installation completed and restarted by self.

And what was the result.....I had a Hackintosh!!! Amazing :-)

I would like to know from you guys how to fix my graphic, sound, trackpad and WiFi.

I have tried success-less to install something.

Regards

I have the same question but with different hardware:

I was unable to find any fitting kexts

Motherboard: Asus X551CAP

Chipset: Intel HM70 (Panther Point)

Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 2500 (Ivy Bridge GT1)

CPU: Intel Celeron 1007U

Trackpad/Touchpad: "Asus Touchpad"

Audio: Intel Panther Point PCH (RealTek)

WLAN: (Qualcomm) Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter

LAN: RealTek RTL8101/02/03 Family

USB: 3.0 / 2.0 XHCI

- Trackpad is not fully functioning (no swipe etc)

- No Audio

    • Oh, thank you but in the meantime I thought again and have installed High Sierra instead. It works just fine, put a camera, bluetooth, wifi, all working OK. I only have to solve a little problem when doing restart it freezes but after shutdown it comes up good! I have also Win7 on same mbr disk and I start with the installation usb but I think go over to EasyBCD to make a smoother boot. If your experienced I would appreciate very much any hints for helping me in this direction.

    • Hi, i am struggling with installation telling me that it needs less than one minute for eternity. in log it shows that "./postinstall: Using AMD Bronya Kernel" process is running, but 4 hours is too long for "Less than a minute" don't you think ;).    Please help me, i tried to install Mac OS on Intel and AMD processor PC, same problem.
