Question: How do I update from Yosemite Zone to macOS Sierra?

Dear forum,

My question is about Yosemite Zone. It works perfectly now but I want to update to Sierra to run some apple apps. Thanks for help!

Short answer: You don't.

Long answer: depends on what bootloader you're using. If it's Clover, it might be possible because Sierra uses Clover as well, so Clover to Clover is plausible, but if you are using Chimera/Chameleon, it's not possible.

Logical answer: I would download Sierra .app on your system right now, and use MacPwn

to create a fresh Sierra USB, and fresh install from there. Backup whatever you need to on your previous install before with Time Machine. That is the easiest route.
