Question

unable to see hdd drives while installing mac sierra

hi!

I use HP pavilion dv4-5113cl note book pc which is taken prior to 2013

and my specs are intel i5 first gen processor

8 GB ram 750 hard disk drive

my problem is: i have downloaded mac sierra and made a bootable usb drive. after that i havent modified EFI partition with kext but i only replaccce the plist config file

and booted up my system with the pendrive. installation procedure starts then during the disk selection im unable to see my hardisk drives. (note im want to dual boot and my BIOS DO NOT SUPPORT AHCI )

i searched some solution i figured out that i can use kexts to get rid of this problem..

but im confused to choose what kexts will suite my system and where to place these kext files after downloading them..

help me out plaese and if their is any other solution i thank fully accept that too.

Hello,

Do you not see your hard drives at all? I mean, do you not see the partitions or the entire hard disk?
