  3. Hi everyone. Here are my specs MOBO :Gigabyte Z68 XP UD3 (1155) GPU : HD 6870 1gb CPU Intel i7 2600k (1155) 60gb SATA SSD MOBO is using legacy Bios. This machine has served me well for years. I tripped a circuit breaker a few weeks ago and now it's stuck in a boot loop. I have setup a new bootable USB to reinstall but for some reason the boot loop is happening when I startup from this as well. I can manage to get to the desktop using the safe mode boot flag (-x) but after a few moments, the desktop freezes and the computer reboots. I used the 10.10.1 disc image to create the new USB stick I am not sure if this could be causing the boot problem in the USB. Should I have used the 10.10.0? At first I suspected a hardware issue but I left the computer on for two days at in the bios screen and it stayed on just fine. Hoping someone can give me a hand figuring out which boot flags can get me going again or how I can reinstall the OS. I really need to get past the freeze/reboot cycle I am in. I am almost ready to nuke this thing and install windows

  6. I built a Hackintosh on a GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P in 2010, and upgraded it to Sierra about 4 months ago. It's been working great until a few days ago. The clock now is losing time, while the computer is on and running. I've been working on the computer all morning, and have had to bump it forward to the current time it 3-4x. Right now it says 9:40am, but it's really 9:47am. I have "Set time and date automatically" set in settings and "Apple Americas/U.S. (time.apple.com.)" selected on the drop down. Deselecting it, and selecting it again, brings the clock back to the current time. Is this a hardware issue or a software issue? Do I have to replace the CR2032 on the motherboard? If so - why? The computer is on, and running, why would it need that battery to maintain the time?

  14. I need help desperately. My hackintosh updated automatically without my permission and it totally fucked everything up. Final Cut Pro now says "This graphics configuration does not support hardware acceleration, which is required to run Final Cut Pro.", Logic is so glitchy it's unusable, and the whole computer in general is now glitchy and laggy. I was either running El Capitan or the older version of Sierra prior. I don't even remember tbh. But everything ran smooth as a baby's butt prior to the update. I am computer stupid and have no idea whatsoever how to fix this. My computer savvy friend built this hackintosh for me, but he is super busy and won't have time for a while to help me out and I need it for work asap. Someone please help me. I'm begging you.
  15. Intel hd 2500

I installed niresh maverick but I can not get the graphics acceleration of the intel hd 2500 (ivy bridge). I just miss this to get a great hack. please give me a hand. I attach a picture to you
  16. I got the same issue as well even after trying to tinker some bootloader options, removed "OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi" and other boot flags. I have make sure the SMBIOS is not modified at all. However I may have found the solution: download the fakesmc.kext and then put that in: "/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/". The installation goes through right away but I can't guarantee if this is a solution for everyone.
  17. graphics card not recognised

Thanks dude I only needed one driver from clover configurator and adgp fix hopefully you can fix your issue to I am new to hackintosh
  18. graphics card not recognised

Have you upgraded the drivers? Boot with clover and select "use web drivers" and disable "inject nvidea" tab... I followed all the mackintosh threads and on the tonymacx86 site and I think I found the answer on the Sierra installation forum, under the alternate method to install video drivers... but if you search for 1060 GTX or or nvidea and the answer is there in one of STORKE's threads...I think... Hope that helps I do not remember all the steps

  23. Sierra + r9 380 won't boot without -x

Hello, I have (somewhat) successfully installed sierra on my PC however it will only boot when in safe mode and I believe to be a GPU problem. I used to run yosemite however I recently installed a new mobo so though I may as well upgrade to OSX at the same time. I am fairly new to hackintoshing and somehow ran into no problems with yosemite. The last line before freezing is 'Sound assertion in AppleHDADriver at line 1664' however further up there is 'Whatevergreen: rad @ failed to find __ZN28AMDRadeonX4000_AMDVHardware25getFrameBufferBaseAddressEV' and another similar error except 'failed to route __ZN37AMDRadeonx4000_AMDGraphicsAccelerator19populateAccelConfigEP13IOAccelConfig' I am also using clover with this config.plist; https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XVw55pWkq8GSGTPOtYv2lLP0-Zu-MdJ8/view?usp=sharing PC Specs; Asrock h77m-itx, xeon e3 1230v2, 2x4gb ram, MSI r9 380 gaming 4gb Thanks.
  24. Thanks in advance for having the time to read this. Let's see... I'm attending some classes regarding Swift 3 and 4 on my college, and I want to be able to practice at home, so I tried to install macOS Sierra Zone with no success. Here are the Specs of my PC: AMD-FX8320 (8 Cores) 8GB RAM (DUAL CHANNEL KINGSTON) MOBO - ASUSTEK M5A78L-M LX/BR NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX760 For more specifics, check images attached. What has happened so far: Tried to install it and after endless times with many bootflags, could begin the installation process to the end, with the following message: macOS could not be installed on your computer Undefined error: 0 (I've read that this is fairly common and means the installation went smooth). After this, when I try to boot on my hard drive, clover seems fine but when I try to enter macOS partition, all that appears is a lot of "+" signs and an automatic reboot. No verbose strings to analyze whatsoever. My BIOS is legacy and I don't have those many options as in UEFI, but I followed what I could in the installation steps described here. Here are some boot flags that I've tried so far, with MANY combinations: kcsuffix=amd, PCIRootUID=0 nv_disable=1 -x -s -f -v -no-zp PCI=off dart=0 npci=0x3000 The combination that works to boot from the Pendrive is: "-x -s -f -v PCIRootUID=0 USBBusFix=Yes nv_disable=1 npci=0x3000 -no-zp" but that doesn't seem to work on the after-install boot. One time I got to see the Apple logo, but i honestly don't remember what I've tried on clover configuration and boot flags, but it was only for a second, and then the reboot came hahaha. I've used the macOS Distro on this link (https://www.hackintosh.zone/file/1008-hackintosh-sierra/), but I had to change the kernel, because with the one from the distro, I've never got past the Darwin screen. The Kernel that I've used is this one: https://www.hackintosh.zone/file/1027-amd-patched-kernel-10125-sierra/ Sorry for the long post, but I felt the need to elaborate my case, so I can ask for help effectively. Tried to upload images but forum is marking as spam...

  26. bootloader

In simplified terms both the USB and HDD need to have an EFI partition created where Clover is installed. They should both be exactly the same in terms of content so if, as is your case, your USB boots fine but the HDD doesn't then that implies your kexts are in the wrong folder on your HDD EFI partition or you are missing some important kexts. Make sure you have the latest version of Clover installed and put the relevant Kexts in the "other " folder. Make sure you have, at a minimum, FakeSMC.kext & NullCPUPowerManagement.kext in EFI/CLOVER/KEXTS/OTHER folder.

Not to shrug your question off but you should then really take the matter up with Adobe on their forums. They'll prob ask you to submit a crash report.
