  1. Hello, I'm currently having issues related to getting my graphics working with my laptop. The acceleration isn't turning on and when it boot it normally it all works expet that my 1600x900 screen is getting scaled to 1280x720 and the graphics are really laggy. I've tried searching for kexts for intel HD Graphics (First gen), but the haven't worked before. I have an Dell Latitude N7010 i5 460m processor with Intel HD Graphics 6GB Ram 640GB HDD
  2. I tried to install Yosemite 10.10.1 and i have successfully installed it before using the Chameleon bootloader, but i've had no success with the Clover bootloader and that's which bootloader i wish to use as it fixes the Imessage issue, but as I was always stuck between the boot and login screen. I know it has to do with the kernel, but i don't know where i repleace the kernel or if there's certain kexts i have to load. The only way i would make it past was in safe mode which is almost useless. Has anyone had any success on an FX-8xxx Series CPU with the latest version of Yosemite-Zone (10.10.1) using Clover? If so, what configuration did you use? My build: CPU: AMD FX-8320, 3.5ghz Ram: 10Gb DDR3 Graphics: Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 1GB MoBo: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 AM3+
  3. Boot with safemode enabled, after that you should be fine. That use to happen during mavericks installations for me
  4. Hey Guys, Im having trouble signing into FaceTime, iMessage and iCloud. Ive got the App Store working as well as iTunes. I recently got everything else working flawlessly so this is the final thing i need to have a completely stable mac build. When i try to singn into either they just load for an infinite amount of time. When i installed Yosemite i used the AMD Webkit and i am currently using chameleon rn2538. Im not sure if that has anything to do with me not being able to sign in, but when i look up this issue people seem to refer to the kernel versions as well as the boot loader. My build: CPU: AMD FX-8320, 3.5ghz Ram: 10Gb DDR3 Graphics: Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 1GB MoBo: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 AM3+
  5. /amd64 npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=No -v Get to the install screen and don't forget to enable npci=0x2000 in the boot defaults tab and unchecking GraphicsEnabler After the install restart your computer using -x and get your account set up and everything DURING THE FIRST BOOT (I suggest preloading all these files below onto your install USB drive using Paragon HFS+ from windows or two computers comes in handy) After the App Store fix you're going to apply the AMDWebkit: https://www.hackintosh.zone/file/806-amd-webkit-patched-1010-10101-yosemite-kernel/ With this you're going to replace the system.kext and the kernel (kernel is located in System/Library/Kernel) [it's invisible so you're going to have to use desktop utility to show the invisible files] using kext wizard Then you're also going to load these kext files: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/354-amd-replace-kext-for-yosemite/ After the three kext files are loaded in kext wizard and your kernel is replaced repair disk permissions and reboot If done correctly it should be working.
  6. Had the exact same problem as you, i got it working (FX-8320 HD 7770) https://www.hackintosh.zone/forums/topic/5637-installation-issues-with-amd/page-3
  7. Build and Boot flags? Also, do you have a log?
  8. Go it working better, download Chimera 4.0.1 from here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=246and install it onto the drive that you have OS X installed on. Then installed this theme by renaming the folder to "Default" and replacing the default theme in /Extra/Themes (I suggest making a backup just in case) http://www.tonymacx86.com/customization/138797-new-theme-os-x-yosemite-bootloader-theme.html Here's a video to follow, its nicer than the themes available for download. It's also comparable with all chameleon themes.
  9. Not sure if this is still a relevant issue, but i had the same problem and ended up getting it working. My only problem is iMessage and FaceTime Follow this https://www.hackintosh.zone/forums/topic/5637-installation-issues-with-amd/page-5#entry21950 Also, we nearly have the same build. My bootflags: /amd64 GraphicsEnabler=No npci=0x2000 -v
  10. Try amd64 -v npci=0x2000 (if radeon do GraphicsEnabler=No) Then you might get kernel errors after which is okay, i will help you out from there
  11. @ridz15 Okay, installed Chameleon wizard Using revision 2529 The i installed a theme, not sure if that does anything, but it was the "DType - Stylistically Simple" and i go it work without a USB now. For the Install method i set it on "Update"
  12. @ridz15 Any luck? Im gonna search to see if other people are having this
  13. @ridz15 Are you using chameleon? I have had problems installing it so i stick to booting with the install USB. click the Install USB as your boot device and then click on the drive you installed Yosemite on. For some reason Chameleon dosent load off my Yosemite drive.
  14. Quick update, i got it to work following this video for anyone else having this problem:
  15. This ended up working after all. To fix the Voodoo problem for my ALC892 audio driver i followed this video and it worked :
