    Same problem! Anyone can help?
  3. Radeon HD 8610G not beimg detected

Hey there! I run Yosemite on virtualbox! Everything works fine but my graphics! They are too slow! My laptop uses: AMD Radeon HD 8550G + 8500M! What exactly should I do with these kexts?? Please help!
  4. Well I have an AMD processor myself and I faced many problems with Yosemite! The solution in VMWare for me was to choose as the host os "Windows" instead of "Mac". However, notice that if you 've been using VMware with host os Mac, after choosing "Windows" as host os and before running your virtual machine, go to: C:UsersYOU_USER_NAMEDocumentsVirtual MachinesYOU_VIRTUAL_MACHINE_NAME find the .vmx file, edit it with notepad, find the line: firmware = "efi" and remove it. NOW run again with your boot flags!!! Hope it helps! Also see this video:
  5. Before booting use flag -v for the verbose mode and check the error
  6. blocking instalation amd

Ah sorry I have no experience with that ;/
  7. blocking instalation amd

Do you use virtualbox? VMware? Or it's a clean install?
  8. Installation Issues With AMD

Well I have an AMD processor myself and I faced many problems with Yosemite! The solution for me was to choose as the host os "Windows" instead of "Mac". Hope it helps! EDIT: The "Windows" selection as host os only work in vmware! In virtualbox select mac 10.9 Also see this video:
  9. Mac on Lenovo G505s laptop

@ after all, i managed to install hackintosh yosemite on my laptop! Let me help AMD users. In vmware, while creating the virtual machine, you should choose as you host os: "windows" and NOT mac!!! I have no idea why, however the mac os option works well with intel but won't work with most AMD processors! My only problem now, is my graphics! My laptop uses: AMD Radeon HD 8550G + 8500M! Is there any solution? Thanks in advance.
  10. Mac on Lenovo G505s laptop

I have searched a lot, but wasn't able to find how to use boot flags in VMware... I added the line: "bios.bootdelay = 5000", however during this time whichever button I press, my virtual bios will show up... In virtual box while booting I used to press: F8 and use boot flags (/amd -v -x -f npci=0x2000 dart=0) what should I do to use boot flags in VMware? Thanks!
  11. Mac on Lenovo G505s laptop

Just googled my VMware problem and found a solution! In order to resolve 'vmcore/vmm/main/physMem_monitor.c:1123' error you do this: Go to: C:UsersYOU_USER_NAMEDocumentsVirtual MachinesYOU_VIRTUAL_MACHINE_NAME, and find the .vmdk file. Open it using the notepad and add the following line: smc.version = 0 I 'll let you know what happens next...
  12. Mac on Lenovo G505s laptop
