  1. Hi Everybody, I'm new in this community, I'm learning to create iOS apps and buying an apple computer was not an option for me. I've installed Niresh's Mavericks on my AMD computer (took me some time but i finally managed to get it working). I am new to Mac and the whole concept of drivers (or kexts). I have been spending the last 3 days trying to get my MSI R7870 HAWK card to work. I have tried injecting a DSDT file and followed all explanations but the system wouldn't boot and I also reflashed my bios afterwards. I prefer not to go through the DSDT path if possible. I followed many suggestions such as installing the HD7000Controller.kext file and AMDRadeonX4000 using kext wizard, fixed permissions and kext cache and then edited kext in S/L/E with device ID 0x68181202 also tried 6819 as someone suggested but got nothing. Then I saw somewhere that I need other kexts too : AMDSupport and AMDFrameBuffer and installed them too. When I look in system information the card is still not recognized and it still says kext not loaded. I don't really know what I'm doing, the system is all laggy and I can't really use it without graphics acceleration. Please help me if you can and guide me as to what data you need in order to help me. Thank you. relevant specs: board: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 Rev.1.0 (no GPU onboard) cpu: AMD FX-8350 memory 12GB corsair 1333 graphics card: MSI R7870 HAWK 2GB (Pitcairn GPU)
