  1. Yosemite installer won't boot on i3 2120

to help diagnose this, try booting with boot flag then tell us what it says
  2. Try installing 10.10, maybe it'll work.
  3. cannot get app store to work

Try making the VM on vmware workstation, it works fine for me
  4. Install Yosemite on AMD

hackintosh on amd isnt very hard, all i had to do was boot with /amd npci=0x3000 then it all set up normally without problems
  5. i have an nvidia geforce gtx 760 gpu, is there a way to install the drivers for it on os x or something? because when i try to play even the simplest of games (like garry's mod on a flatgrass (or some other very bad map(like a map without any lighting(like that map i made back in 2009 thinking it was the best map ever(it wasnt the best map)))) map), the fps goes down very low (like 8 or 7 fps) i should also point out when i first launched os x, it said something like "a graphical error has occured" and the OS wouldn't respond, the background would go black then back to the background every like 10 seconds and if i clicked on the apple logo or something, it would need for the next 10 seconds for it to respond. however, i was patient during this and waited until it launched safari on the hackintosh.zone homepage and said setup was done i put in some boot code to prevent it from happening again (i believe i used this: msibase=0x90 ) i also use npci=0x3000, without it, it wont boot and would say something like pci configuration begin in verbose mode
  6. I'm a bit confused about this. Can someone guide me in the right direction so I don't accidentally screw up? How can I put the ISO onto my USB and make it bootable?
  7. Will my build work normally with os x?

Also, some more info: I tried installing niresh mavericks on my current computer about a year ago, and it worked fine, but the Audio was a bit bad. Other than that, no kernel panics and it worked fine!
  8. Will my build work normally with os x?

I have a prebuilt computer. Here are my specs: Ethernet (no wifi)Microsoft comfort 5000 wireless keyboard/mouseBIOS: Asrock (has UEFI) ver: 04.06.05Processor: AMD FX™ 8350 eight-core (overclocked in uefi to 4.2 ghz, originally 4.0 ghz)8 GB ramGPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760I tried installing it on vmware workstation, with typing "/amd" when first booting, and it worked fine apart from the fact that Audio, or will it lock up, destroy all of my data and delete the MBR like it did on my other, very old computer?

  10. thanks for no help, i tried the same with yosemite 10.10 and it worked fine first try no problems
  11. Stuck at 2 minutes in Virtual Box

i have a similar problem on vmware it gets stuck on 2 minutes for like 8 minutes, then it says "The OS could not be installed" and an error log
  12. So I tried installing niresh mavericks with my own instructions I made up. Mavericks surprisingly worked fine on 1st try. Here's how I installed mavericks: 1. Create a new VM as "Windows 8 x64" 2. Remove hard disk and create a new SATA disk. 3.1. Set Processors to 2, and RAM to 4 gigs 3. Install regularly with /amdfx 4. Format disk with disk utility as "Mac OS (Journaled)" 5. Set up OS X 6. Done! Absolutely no problems! Now I tried the same with yosemite, I got stuck with the /amdfx part, because typing in /amd would say "The guest operating system has turned off the CPU" or whatever and /amdfx doesn't exist. I googled real quick, and found out something called "/amd1". I tried it, and it worked! ~20 mins later, when the installation is at "2 minutes remaining", it says "The OS X installation couldn't be completed". I tried again 3 times, the same problem is still here. Here is a screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/EZbFgto.png Can somebody help me? Here's the installation log (i saved the installation log, then loaded up elementary os tryout and uploaded it to dropbox): https://db.tt/swooK4uW
