  1. What did you try until now? My booting flags for the install was : /amd64 npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=1 -v What I can tell you is that my motherboard is not working well with external hardrives because OSX is shutting down the USB ports and stops my External Hardrive You could also try /amdfx npci=0x2000 (or npci=0x3000) -v I use PCIRootUID=1 because my video card requires it I am not an expert but maybe I can help you out with what I know, but you will have to tell me what did you try until now. And please tell me what hardware do you have.
  2. Hi guys I need a bit of help. I have succesfully installed Mavericks on my system and everything works fine even my ATI RADEON HD 7750 works with 3d acceleration (tested with a game and it works just fine) My problem is the following. The system loads VoodooHDA.kext for the sound card. And I only have two ports (1 input and 1 output) in the back that work and the front pannel ports. I would like to activate all the back ports if possible (I have 6 jack ports and a digital port) and if possible HDMI sound but not a big requirement. I tried the AppleHDA.kext but it's not working, I have no sound when I install that kext. I also tried with my DSDT.msl in /Extra/ However I did not patch the DSDT because I don't know if I need to do that with my Gigabyte Mobo since it detects everything from the start. When I used the unedited DSDT I got a kernel panit about ACPI so I removed the DSDT from Extra Can anyone tell me if I can make it work on more ports than 1 output?
  3. I tried now booting in single user mode to repair my HSF partition but I can't, this FS is kind of easy to break I see. Can I use fsck to fix the file system? Diskutil says I can't repair my partition. Is there any chance to repair it? Or I have to reinstall the whole system again?
  4. Can you give me some advice on my same exact problem? https://www.hackintosh.zone/forums/topic/7242-hackintosh-zone-amd-build-unable-to-boot-in-normal-mode/ I don't know how to edit DSDT or patch Kexts
  5. Hi Guys, I would like your help on my Hackintosh system. I can start in safe mode without any problem just by using ( -x npci=0x2000 ). The problem is that I cannot start in normal mode. It hangs on a gray screen with the spinning lollipop/wheel and just sits there not doing anything. I used only hackintosh zone distro and did not install anything else except the network Kext with KextBeast. My build is: MOBO: Gigabyte GA 990FXA-UD3 Rev 3.0 CPU: AMD FX 8350 Black Edition GPU: MSI AMD ATI HD 7750 (Cape Verde) 1Gb VRAM DDR5 RAM: 8Gb Corsair Vengeance Black DDR3 Network: Realtek chipset RTL 1869 (from TPLink on PCI) - managed to get it run on my first try with KextBeast with native support after removing ATI kexts Distro: Hackintosh Zone Yosemite 10.10.1 My problem is I am new to this I am stuck at this point in safe mode and I don't know where to go from here. What I tried until now: Booting in normal mode with the following flags: 1.) npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1 -v -> Not working 2.) npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=No -v -> Not working =================================================== PS: I am unable to boot otherwise, I have no secondary on board card. I would appreciate all suggestions with detailed explanations because I have no clue how to do a DSDT injection or more complicated stuff, but if it's explained step by step I can get it. On my first try I managed to enter in safe mode only through HDMI with my Samsung TV connected because it had dual display set up default and I used PCIRootUID=1 on the second install and now I don't need the HDMI to see my screen on my BENQ monitor. Thank you in advance.
