  7. ALC 892 problems

    I only installed exactly what you said, the HDAenabler layout Iid=1, i had no SSDT-1 before so it was there after the installation. I got a .txt file saying: Added boot option: DropSSDT=Yes Found non-key inside <dict> at line 13 Error Reading File: //Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist My boot options now: <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Credits</key> <string>www.hackintosh.zone</string> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>y</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>no</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <key>PciRoot</key> <string>1</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>2</string> </dict> </plist> I really don't know what to do now..

  10. ALC 892 problems

Hi, I know that there's several topics about the same issue, but I want to have a personal one so I can get the help I need because I'm a noob with Hackintosh. I've got the Realtek ALC892 sound on my motherboard but I can't get it to work. I've tried Multibeast install, also installing the HDAenabler1.kext and AppleHDA.kext but NOTHING works. It says "no output found" when I press sound, I don't know what to do at all. Here's my boot options: <key>Credits</key> <string>www.hackintosh.zone</string> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>y</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>no</string> <string>-x</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>npci=0x2000 dart=0</string> <key>PciRoot</key> <string>1</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>2</string> </dict> </plist> Anyone that can help me? I'd be so grateful, thanks in advance.
  11. Gigabyte Geforce 660 2GB installation?

I've installed them and restarted but it doesn't work and nothing's showing up in the sound output menu. Did you check my boot options? I use the -x boot option, is that maybe making this issue? Anyway, how can i proceed from here..
  12. Gigabyte Geforce 660 2GB installation?

    I've tried to install the kext for HDAenabler892.kext and the AppleHDA.kext. Do I need to enter anything in the Chameleon boot plist? Here's my current boot options: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Credits</key> <string>www.hackintosh.zone</string> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>y</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>no</string> <string>-x</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>npci=0x2000 dart=0</string> <key>PciRoot</key> <string>1</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>2</string> </dict> </plist> The graphics doesn't work yet.
  13. Gigabyte Geforce 660 2GB installation?
