  1. Hello Arup, Use the 10.8.2 disk to boot with... Insert 10.8.5 disk and hit F5, then enter any arguments. That is how I got to boot but I am still unable to install, maybe you will have better luck. I have AMD FX processor.
  2. Let me know how you make out. Yea I know. None of Diresh's releases fit on a SL DVD. I use DL but wont boot from the disk
  3. Can this be loaded from a DVD? I see people saying that they use a DVD and Niresh says in the info about this release that it is "This is Completely USB". I have tried loading it with a DVD an it wont even boot. Created the DVD like I did with the 10.8.2 release which at least got to the installation. I used Transmac like I did with 10.8.2. This release will not get that far. It there something that I am missing? I am using an AMD FX processor, winfast MB. I would prefer not to use my Alienware with Intel i7 system. Thanks, Mike
  4. Hi Group, Is there anything I should know about installing on a Dell Alienware with the following: Intel i7 3820 3.6 Ghz 16 GB RAM Windows 7 Ultimate primary OS Thanks...
  5. Hello didair, Are you saying I should enter it in the format you gave with the / in there. I have not seen that before. So I would enter: amd -x -v npci=0x3000/0x2000 PCIRootUID=0/1 No comma but with the /s? Thanks.
  6. Koranny, I do not remember what I used when I installed the retail version. I included an image of my bootloader showing OS X. I did that about a year ago before I knew about Niresh. It does not load, but it installed. I can not get Niresh's version to install. It hangs at the Apple logo or if I do -x -v at [ PCI Configuration begin ]. I could try to install it on my Alienware system, but I would prefer not to. That system is: Alienware Desktop Win 7 Ultimate 64 Bit Intel i7-3820 @ 3.6 GHz 16 GB Ram I would prefer to install it on my older system that I built which is AMD. http://www.flickr.com/photos/89084806@N02/11232557023
  7. Thank you for the reply Niresh, It did not work. Still stuck at the [ PCI Configuration begin ]. Attached is a screen shot... http://www.flickr.com/photos/89084806@N02/11224602426
  8. Koranny, The odd thing is that I was able to get a retail version of OS X to install but it would not load. I can't get this version to even install.
  9. Hello Ron, Thank you for the tip but it did not work. It gets suck on [ PCI Configuration begin ].
  10. Hello, I am attempting to install 10.8.2. I tried doing it with no flags and I have tried -v and -x and always amd. I get to the Apple logo and nothing happens after that during the install. My system: Home built Windows 7 AMD Athlon 64 939 Winfast MOBO with Award Phoenix BIOS (CK804) Nvidia NForce 4 GPU: XFX Radeon HD6770 4 GB RAM Any help would be greatly appreciated and if I do get it running I promise a $25 donation for Niresh's huge effforts. Thank you. Mike
