  1. Partition Problems

Hi everyone, I am having trouble dual booting windows and niresh mavericks. I have to partition my hard drive into 3 partitions because, my hard drive is 3TB. Mavericks does not run if a partition is over 1 TB. Anyway I use niresh mavericks disk utility to format my hard drive as the following: First partition is formatted as mac os extended, the second partition is formatted as MS-DOS (FAT) as a GUID partition also, the third partition is formatted as free space, When I install mavericks on the first partition I go and try to install Windows on the second partition. However, it says windows can't be installed in that partition because it is not formatted as a GUID partition even if I did format it as so. Or I also try to install windows first and try to install the other partition for mavericks but it doesn't let me. I have even tried to format it into 2 partitions with windows but still mavericks won't let me format the other partition for mavericks. It gives me an error or just says preparing to partition and stays like that forever. I have tried everything to try and install them but, I have not managed to do it. If someone could help me fix this? Thanks.

  6. Multibeast Help

Hi everyone, when I finish installing Mavericks and setting it up I try to set up Multibeast. When, I finish choosing all of the possible kexts for my computer and restart it, it always ends up corrupting or bricking my hackintosh. I am not really sure what to do as it is my first time doing this. My computer specs are: motherboard: GA-970A-DS3, Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7700, Processor: AMD FX-6300, it also has a UEFI interface if you need to know.
  7. Dual Boot Help

Hi everyone, I am having trouble dual booting Windows 8.1 and Mavericks. I am not really sure which OS to install first in the Hard drive I am using, or how to properly install a boot loader for both of them to work. I have UEFI for my motherboard if you need to know.
  8. Hello everyone, I am trying to install Mavericks on my PC. I have never installed an Apple OS on a PC before so I don't have any experience whatsoever. I wiped my hard drive clean to install Maverick on it. I changed the BIOS settings to ACHI and set up the USB as priority. I have a Gigabyte 970a-ds3 if you need to know that. I also have an amd fx-6300 processor. I read that Niresh is compatible with AMD. Anyway, I installed Mavericks by launching it with the boot code: amdfx -v. I also formatted the drive to work with OSX. My hard drive is 3TB so I tried partitioning the hard drive. But, it only let me partition it into two partitions. I installed Mavericks in one of those partitions. When it finally finished, I restarted the computer and removed the USB as the instructions asked to do so. But, it says: "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key." I press any key and nothing happens. Then I try turning on the computer with the USB, and then I click the Partition where I installed Mavericks and it just says: "can't find /mack_kernel Press any key to continue." Is there something I am doing wrong? Or could you tell me what might be the problem or how to fix it? Thanks.
