  2. Update Niresh Mavericks 10.9 to 10.9.4 AMD

Hi, this tutorial is made by me, try many ways and this way it worked, with my Niresh Mavericks AMD Motherboard: MSI MS-7778 (Jasmine) RAM: 10GB DDR3-1600 Processor: AMD A8-5500 3.2 GHz (3.7 GHz turbo up to) 2 Video Graphics: Internal: AMD HD7560D PCI Express: GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 2GB DDR3 128 bit GPU Sound: Integrated IDT Audio 92HD73E Hard Drieve: 1TB SATA 1) In the Mavericks backup's files and directories: /boot* (boot, boot2, boot3, boot6) /mach_kernel* (mach_kernel, mach_kernel.backup) /Extra /bin /System/Library/Extensions 2) Download OSXUpdCombo10.9.4.dmg and install, this installation need to restart 3) Due to the previous installation, you must copy some files from backup, so for this you need to copy file from the another OS, install Paragon HFS+ for Windows (but I will not work for me), I used Ubuntu and this work fine to me. 4) Download Ubuntu 14.04 (32 or 64 bits), burn to DVD and boot from pc or notebook "Try Live CD Ubuntu". 5) Into Ubuntu you need to do this: $ sudo apt-get install hfsplus hfsutils Download and install manual "hfsprogs" package (hfsprogs_332.25-11_amd64.deb) $ sudo umount /media/ubuntu/Hackintosh (umount any device if you have mounted) $ sudo mkdir /media/ubuntu/niresh (/dev/sdb2 it's my partitions HFSPlus of OSx, /dev/sda it's my partitions of Windows) $ sudo mount -t hfsplus -o force,rw /dev/sdb2 /media/ubuntu/niresh (if you need remount partition, use this command) $ sudo mount -t hfsplus -o remount, force,rw /dev/sdb2 /media/ubuntu/niresh (if the partition is mounted read-only, type the following command, and mounted again and will mounted with read-write) sudo fsck.hfsplus -f /dev/sdb2 6) copy the backup files to the OSx partitions: $ sudo rm /media/ubuntu/niresh/mach_kernel* $ sudo cp /Backup/mach_kernel* /media/ubuntu/niresh $ cd /media/ubuntu/niresh/System/Library/Extensions/ $ rm -fr AppleMatch.kext/ System.kext/ Sandbox.kext/ $ sudo copy -fr /Backup/System/Library/Extensions/AppleMatch.kext/ . $ sudo copy -fr /Backup/System/Library/Extensions/System.kext/ . $ sudo copy -fr /Backup/System/Library/Extensions/Sandbox.kext/ . $ sudo reboot 7) boot from the Mavericks with any the following commands: -v -v -x -f -v -x -f -s -v npci=0x3000 -v npci=0x3000 UseKernelCache=No -v npci=0x3000 UseKernelCache=No GraphicsEnabler=No -v npci=0x3000 UseKernelCache=No PCIRootUID=0 -v npci=0x3000 USBBusFix=Yes -v npci=0x3000 USBBusFix=Yes PCIRootUID=1 And that's it. Greetings from Bolivia.

  4. Need Help Please. AMD A8 APU

Find in your BIOS and change to AHCI, then you can try with -x (Safe Mode): amd npci=0x3000 -v -x or try: amd npci=0x3000 USBBusFix=Yes -v -x or: amd npci=0x3000 USBBusFix=Yes PCIRootUID=1 -v -x if not run, change to PCIRootUID=0 Regards.
  5. Need Help Please. AMD A8 APU

Hi, i have the same processor and i used this flags: amd -v npci=0x3000 and then before to install, choose: GraphicsEnabler=Yes IGPEnabler=Yes npci=0x3000 MacPro 5,1 SATA3 UseKernelCache=Yes I tried installing two weeks, trying in many ways, i have HP Pavilion p7-1414 Desktop Motherboard: MSI MS-7778 (Jasmine) RAM: 10GB DDR3-1600 Processor: AMD A8-5500 3.2 GHz (3.7 GHz turbo up to) 2 Video Graphics: Internal: AMD HD7560D PCI Express: GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 2GB DDR3 128 bit GPU Sound: Integrated IDT Audio 92HD73E Hard Drieve: 1TB SATA Regards.
  6. Which version is better, Mavericks app store vs niresh

Thank you for your response, so what should I do? disable the virtualization technology in the BIOS? But then if AMD, why? when finished Niresh installations, run xcode and started well. the kernel problems occur just as I finish using MultiBeast. Thank you.
  7. Hi there, a month ago I started with hackintosh to develop in xcode, but the distribution of Niresh kernel gives me problems, close the iPhone simulator, netbeans close and many other applications too. the question is, is there any difference between the version of Niresh and app store applying myHack Unibeast? the kernel remains the same? or is there some variation? I have this doubt because I have the original distribution of mavericks in vmware and I have no problems with xcode. After many installations, I did the following test: install mavericks successfully, then before using MultiBeast run the iphone simulator and started well, after applying MultiBeast problems begin in the kernel. try installing with myhack mavericks dmg app store, change the kernel for amd and not run, infinite reboots (-v -x -f npci=0x3000 USBBusFix=Yes GraphicsEnabler=No, etc etc etc). then why throw the question, which version is better? because if the app store version has not problems is preferable to change my computer to intel. My PC I have an HP Pavilion p7-1414 Desktop: (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=es&lc=es&dlc=es&docname=c03499587) Motherboard: MSI MS-7778 (Jasmine) RAM: 10GB DDR3-1600 Processor: AMD A8-5500 3.2 GHz (3.7 GHz turbo up to) 2 Video Graphics: Internal: AMD HD7560D PCI Express: GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 2GB DDR3 128 bit GPU Sound: Integrated IDT Audio 92HD73E Hard Drieve: 1TB SATA org.chameleon.Boot.plist <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1280x1024x32</string> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>IGPEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>npci=0x3000 dart=0</string> <key>Legacy Logo</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>2</string> <key>UseKernelCache</key> <string>Yes</string> Problems kernel xcode simulator iphone: Process: iPhone Simulator [358] Path: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/Applications/iPhone Simulator.app/Contents/MacOS/iPhone Simulator Identifier: com.apple.iphonesimulator Version: 7.1 (463.9.41) Build Info: Indigo-463009041000000~2 Code Type: X86-64 (Native) Parent Process: launchd [149] Responsible: iPhone Simulator [358] User ID: 501 Date/Time: 2014-07-03 23:35:32.199 -0400 OS Version: Mac OS X 10.9 (13A603) Report Version: 11 Anonymous UUID: 1D8CC0EB-BA51-D89E-6AB6-3E86F6B7359F Crashed Thread: 0 Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV) Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x00000001c1e43b00 Thank you at all.
