  1. Mavericks freezes when setting up

Still freezing up. No flags seems to work. Even tried reinstall but it's a no go.
  2. Mavericks freezes when setting up

Anyone found a fix for this?
  3. Mavericks freezes when setting up

When i try to create a user after installation after 30-50 seconds everything freezes and i have to reboot my computer. My hardware: Motherboard: Gigabyte 970a-UD3 (am3+ socket) Cpu: AmdFX 8350 GPU: Geforce Gtx 670 (MSI) I had it running yesterday but something terrible happened after an appstore update (think Xcode was the thing updated.) After that the system just restarted after every boot. Could not get in the boot loader or anything so i wiped the disc and re installed and now i'm stuck. I've been tortured with this since this morning and now i'm starting to get tired of failing. Would greatly appreciate any help! please take in consideration that i'm new to this so please explain in detail, after seeing some threads on other forums with the same problem but no fix this thread could be their aid in the future. The boot flags I've tried so far without any further success is: KernelCache=/amdfx GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUID=1 -x KernelCache=/amdfx GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUID=1 -x npci=0x3000 KernelCache=/amd GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUID=1 -x npci=0x3000 -x GraphicsEnabler=No -x npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=No
  4. Cpu panic error

So i got this issue: Every time i try to install i get: Panic (CPU ) No HPETs avaiable Cpu(s) configured incorrectly. Kernel extensions in backtrace: com.apple.driver.appleintelcpupowermanagement... System uptime in nanoseconds: 90811121405 Then i gotta restart the machine by holding in the power button. No flags iv'e tried have worked so far. When i try to boot my USB where i have my OSX Mavericks install media my computer just restarts so can't enter the terminal or anything. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
  5. Screen going black, no signal on fresh install

I think my GTX 670 msi card is working now as i no longer lag. Tested a benchmarker i found in the app store and my cpu and gpu is on the level with other builds. The problem i have now is after every reboot i have to manually type in: npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=No Even tho my com.apple.boot.plist file contains the following: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>No</string> <string>ncpi=0x2000</string> </dict> </plist> Ideas and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely
  6. Mavericks freezes when setting up

Booting with: GraphicsEnabler=No -x Worked for me. Set it up when in -x (safemode) And let the installer get done if you are using Niresh.
  7. Screen going black, no signal on fresh install

Okey so i fixed this by writing in: GraphicsEnabler=No at boot. Now I'm in but i have no idea where to go next. My internet is working but safari is lagging like hell so the graphics are permanently off now? This is my com.apple.boot file: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string></string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1920x1080x32</string> </dict> </plist>
  8. So my hardware specs are: CPU: AMD FX-8350 Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-UD3 Graphic:Geforce GTX 670 (msi) Harddrive used on install: 596 GB Seagate So i just managed to get: https://www.hackintosh.zone/file/75-niresh-mac-os-x-mavericks-109-with-amd-intel-usb/ through the installation process. Trying to boot up now, i get the apple logo and the grey wheel spinning around when suddenly it all goes black and my monitor say no signal. When it comes to this i just have to hard reboot by holding in the power button. Any ideas what this might be and how i can fix it? I have no idea how to get out error logs but if you tell me how i can supply them to you. Sincerely
