  1. audio, wifi drivers fix not working

In order not to make a new thread I will post here. Got my Hackintosh sorted out, the only thing to do is to setup sound. I have a Gigabyte GA-MA770-US3. On gigabyte official page it is stated that it uses ALC888 codec. I tried installing drivers from Multibeast as well as several modified AppleHDA.kext and NOTHING. There are absolutely NO DEVICES listed in "Audio" section of System Profiler so I can't find vendor nor device ID. What to do?
  2. Graphic Artifacts

SOLVED: Downloaded latest AMD kernel for 10.8.x from here: http://www.osx86.net/file/3694-amd-108x-kernel/?st=10#commentsStart Swapped the kernel via Terminal using instructions from here: http://rubayathasan.com/tutorial/osx86-changing-default-kernel/ Rebooted and there are no glitches anymore. Also, the system boots a lot quicker now. I'm happy Tnx everyone for help and I hope that this thread will help someone else. Cheers and happy hacking!
  3. Can't Boot To Install

I have the same problem on: AMD Phenom II 945 4gb DDR2 6870 Saphire Downloaded the latest 10.8.5 iso on USB stick using TransMac. Upon startup Niresh bootloader popped up, I selected Boot OS X from 10.8.5 or something like that.
  4. Graphic Artifacts

I guess i was too late to the party xD You think it would help me with the problem? Is AMD kernel changed there?
  5. Graphic Artifacts

Hello, yesterday i successfully installed and booted OS X 10.8.2 on my AMD machine but there is a problem with graphics. It's not about the drivers, OS X is recognizing my card (Saphire 6870). But there are strange graphic glitches, screen tearing etc. Safari is unusable, the text is all messed up. Also sometimes folders wont show files until i move the window and it glitches out. I tried booting with GE=no, the artifacts occur a little bit less but in Kext wizard i see that AMD6000Controller is still loaded. Is there a way to fix this? I read that it's AMD kernel problem and that it cannot be solved... using following bootflags on Clover bootloader: -v darkwake=0 npci=0x2000
