  1. Intel 82583 Gigabit Ethernet Stops Working

I reinstalled Mavericks from scratch just to start fresh, this was the 3rd time I've had to do it to get all the kinks out. Oddly enough, this time for the first couple reboots (having to reboot from program installs) the internet worked great and successfully downloaded a couple 1 gig torrents and the necessary content for logic. However after all in all I'm still back to the same problem. I don't think the NIC is dead especially since I have 0 problems with it on Windows 8. Does anybody know where I can find an Intel 82583 Gigabit Ethernet kext???
  2. When I'm browsing the web my internet works fine however anytime I try downloading anything off uTorrent, downloading a game client off the battle.net client, downloading extra sound samples for Logic Pro X, downloading a game off steam or anything of the sort my internet just stops working but nothing freezes or crashes it simply just stops. The network monitor also shows no sent/received once it stops working as well. I am using an Intel 82583 onboard ethernet port on my Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z motherboard. If the kext was wrong wouldn't it not work at all? Any ideas? 3. Everything is running great OS wise except for an internet freeze problem so I decided to see whether running a dsdt for my mobo would change anything. I have an Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z mobo. Installed Clover in EFI partition without a hitch. When I change my boot order to clover or override boot I get this error saying "The system found unauthorized changes on the firmware, operating system or UEFI Drivers. Has anybody encountered this and hopefully figured out a way around it? Screenshot of problem below. Amd FX-8350 4.0ghz G-Skill 16gb 1600 ram Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z mobo w/ 2101 firmware version. 4. Crosshair V Formula-Z How-To

Everything went well! Successfully dual booted Mavericks with Windows 8.1 Enterprise. There's only two problems: No sound and I can't see any of my NTFS logical hard drives. All I can get for info on my Asus Realtek driver is it's "Supreme FX III". Do I need a certain kext in order to see my other drives? -Edit: Everything works perfectly.

Thank you! However, looking deeper into the custom bios thing: the custom bios file is a 29kb .aml file and in comparison if I go to asus's support page and download my current bios it's actually an 8mb .cap file. Does anybody know why this is? It can't possibly be right, I don't want to brick my mobo!! Also could you please direct link me to the tutorial page just to make sure we're both on the same page? 6. Crosshair V Formula-Z How-To

Hey Guys! I've finally decided to give OS X a crack on my pc and Niresh is definitely the best way to go. As you can tell through my specs I have the Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z mobo, and I'm thrilled to see that someone wrote a custom UEFI bios for the motherboard to be able to install OS X! My question though is where can I find a tutorial on how to install OS X specifically on my mobo? I understand there's a custom bios for it but what settings do I run on the bios? Also, with the custom bios installed will I be able to have a Windows partition as well? Thanks in advance for any insight at all! - CPU - AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-core 4.0 ghz - Video Card - nVidia GeForce GTX660 x2 SLI - Asus Crosshair V Foruma-Z (Amd 990FX) - WLAN - N/A - Ethernet Intel 82583 Gigabit - Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z onboard Realtek Audio
