  1. I am having crashes every so often on my Sierra Zone Hackintosh. I have no idea what is causing it because in the ".crash" logs there are a few different things. One of the main ones is Logic X. I have perfect sound, Internet & graphics running on an older MSI Platinum P35 Motherboard that's LGA775 with a Xeon X5460 that was converted from LGA771 to LGA775 with that mod & an AMD HD6650 1GB DDR5. I have DIGI 002r hooked up via firewire & everything works perfect...for awhile...BUT, it periodically crashes, & not always while running Logic X. Logic X won't even be open, I'll just be watching youtube or something & it will crash for "apparently" no reason. I have attached a few console ".crash" files that happened from a while ago til yesterday from Logic X & another one that happened because (if I'm not mistaken) of VTDecoder & another becuz of Minergate. I'm pretty sure these are what caused the whole computer to crash & not just records of the program/app crashing. If not, please let me know which file records the crash of the ENTIRE computer. Can someone who knows have a look & see if they know what's going on? Please & thankyou. P.S. I can return the favor. Console .crash file of Logic XConsole .crash of Minergate on Sierra ZoneConsole .crash of VTDecodere on Sierra Zone

  3. Apps Crashing (Graphics) Hello Guys! I've spent the last three days, trying to get Yosemite installed on my pc. I’ve finally got it installed, but I'm still facing some problems. When I first got it installed, I'd always get the “A graphics problem has been detected” message. Somehow I managed to get rid of that, but it seems the same error keeps happening, just without the message Whenever I open Safari, App Store, or press certain buttons in apps, they always crash. I've installed the Nvidia cudadriver 6.5 btw. 5. Windows partition fails to load

Hi there, not sure where to post this, but I figured here would at least be best. Running OS X and Windows 7, all of a sudden, Windows will not boot, not in Safe mode, or any other F8 option other than startup repair. Any one know any way to fix this? New to this whole thing, and just looking for some answers. Thank you for any responses
  6. Installation Crashes

Hello everybody and thanks for the great community! I followed the guide on macbreaker and managed to download and boot the yosemite zone installer. The installer worked quite fine (except for the laggy "Welcome Bienvenidos Benvenuti" animation ) out of the box but it crashes after a couple of minutes with a huge Error Log this is my hardware CPU : Intel core i3 3225 3.30GHz Motherboard : Gigabyte H77-DS3H Video : Intel HD4000 Ram Corsair Vengeance 8gb ddr3 HD seagate 500GB ST500DM002 This is the last lines of the error log

  8. I got Yosemite Zone working perfectly for a few days, I decided to take it with my to school in my bag, opened it up half way through the day and it was still working perfectly, when I got home all I see is a black screen with a flashing white line in the top left. I've tried disconnecting my hardrives, my ram with no success, and in each scenario I've tried both F2 and F12 with no response. HELP! I'm kinda freaking out.
  9. Hi everyone, I have recently built a pc and have started to try and install osx on it. However I have come into a few problems. The first one was that the apple logo would flash and the pc would reboot whenever i booted up. (fixed by xpcm-free) There is still a problem though. When I boot up with this boot flag the apple logo stays and a spinning icon appears however the pc gets stuck here. When I went into verbose mode to find out the problem, I found this error: Sorry for the bad picture quality. My PC: motherboard: msi h81-p33 v2 cpu: pentium g3258 (K/anniversary) gpu: msi gtx 970 gaming 4G storage: kingston ssd now 120gb, 1tb western digital blue Any help for this would be extremely helpful. Thanks, Jonnie

  11. So as the title says, I get a kernel panic which traced back to that. This started happening after I just wiped the Yosemite drive and reinstalled Yosemite but instead of using chimera, I used Clover. Here are three photos I took before It shut off almost instantly. 1: https://i.imgur.com/hYfvfSc.jpg 2. https://i.imgur.com/mwZA42L.jpg 3. https://i.imgur.com/AjGZHWo.jpg Any clue as to why this is happening? I have the proper FakeSMC.kext and the proper Ethernet kext. I do however have wireless/bluetooth MPCIe Combo ii from Asus. My Specs: - Asus Maximus VI Formula (Motherboard) - EVGA GTX 680 2GB SC (GPU) - Intel i7 4770k @ Stock (CPU) - G.Skill TridentX 16GB 2400Hz (RAM) - 1050W Power Supply (PSU) - 3 HDDs & 1 Disk Drive (Other Stuff) As noted before: The motherboard came with something called a 'MPCIe Combo ii' which is a MPCI card that has the '2-in-1 Bluetooth+Wireless' in one card, hence the 'Combo' in its name. According to windows, its modelID is 'BCM43B1'. While WiFi is not needed at the moment, it will eventually as I won't be able to tether my laptop's wireless connection over an Ethernet cable forever... Any help with be greatly appreciated, DerpleNerple2000
  12. I installed the TP-Link WN822N Driver on my hackintosh (Yosemite 10.10 w/ AMD) and everytime I boot up, the wireless network utility crashes, so I cant go on the internet. Help?
  13. Specs: AMD FX 6100 Processor AMD Radeon HD 6570 Graphics Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 Motherboard The Problem: After installing Yosemite (Using only /amdfx, npci=0x3000, and -v as boot flags) I get a black screen. How I've tried fixing it: I've attempted using the "grafix" Fix on the main forum ( https://www.hackintosh.zone/hackintosh/articles/how-to/fix-grey-screen-black-screen-mac-os-x-installation-hackintosh/ ), But ended up making the whole situation worse. Now, when i try booting into Yosemite, no matter what I do, I always end up getting stuck at a Yosemite Wallpaper screen, blurred out, then it crashes after about a minute. I've tried using -x (safe mode), -v (verbose), npci=0x3000 (and 2000), and many others, with no luck. Keep in mind that it only started crashing on me after I ran the commands as stated on the "Grafix" article. Before that, I was more than likely into Yosemite, Just no working picture on the Monitor. Please help. I'm not an absolute noob at this, nor am I any expert! ANY and ALL suggestions will be helpful! I've attached an image that looks like the one i get right before i get the inevitable crash. The only difference is that there's no Yosemite logo on it.

  18. This website causes me chrome crashes

I've done this: http://www.howtogeek.com/103292/how-to-fix-shockwave-flash-crashes-in-google-chrome/ But chrome still crashes on me regularly. Is this just me? i also have the same problem using firefox but less frequent crashes.
  19. ***** If you are having problems after installation, this has a lot of information: https://www.hackintosh.zone/apple/articles/troubleshooting/guide-most-common-problems-with-hackintosh-r10/ ***** UPDATE QUESTION: when I install from DVD it takes about 20 minutes and then the screen goes grey and the computer restarts. Is this the way it should be? Hi. I have installed Niresh Mountain Lion 10.8.5 on a separate hard drive in an existing Win 7 computer. To be clear, I have one drive for win7, one for storage and now one for OSX. (I refer to Niresh Mountain Lion 10.8.5 as OSX here) I have NOT installed a correct bootloader. I installed OSX on the separate hardrive connected via SATA. I can choose to boot direct from this drive through my UEFI BIOS interface. Or to use boot flags I use the DVD to choose the boot from the hard disk. OSX begins to boot but hangs.Note that I am happy with leaving the boot situation alone. When i want to have a go with OSX I can choose boot from the hard disk easily. I do not have access to camera at the moment. I have tried the following: 1) reinstalled using burned DVD of Niresh iso. 2) the various "flags": -x -v -GraphicsEnabler = No 3)Setting my BIOS settings to UEFI defaults then disabling anything "fancy" eg. - VT-d technology under the north bridge options. Here is the manual for my motherboard: ftp://europe.asrock.com/manual/H67DE3.PDF the following errors occur during the boot: 1)device hubdrive @0x1d100000 overcurrent condition port will be disabled (occurs several times) 2) OSX hangs upon reaching the following line as shown by -x-v boot (lines leading up tp this are below in qoutes); Bluetooth -yaddayaddayadda-Start completed "SMC::smcInitHelper ERROR:MMIO regMap == NUll - fall back to old SMC mode ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - wait for Service (resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUManagement) timed out DMOS has arrived [iOBluetoothHCIController][start] -- completed" **Update** Following advice from https://www.hackintosh.zone/apple/articles/troubleshooting/guide-most-common-problems-with-hackintosh-r10/ i have disabled Vt-d but my monitor is vga only. So I think i need to install vga support for HD3000. From here maybe; https://www.hackintosh.zone/forums/topic/191-updated-guide-tips-for-enabling-vga-in-intel-hd3000-gpu/ However I can't figure out how to do this. ** I am trying to edit the kxt's but when booting with -s typing into command line keeps being interrupted by USB warning about "device hubdrive @0x1d100000 overcurrent condition". So I am parking this project. Will probably try again when I have access to a Mac and not use distro. I have tried the AppleIntelCPU* removal via terminal, no impact I have tried replacing the FakeSMC via terminal, no impact. I have tried reinstalling with different options in customise, but none had an impact. I tried changing NullCpu.. to Disabler, and others, but no effect.
  20. On Niresh Mavericks 10.9, whenever i click the "About this Mac", The system instantly hangs and reverts to the logon screen. Is this a known issue and is there a fix ? System Specs:- 1) Intel Core i3 2) ATI 5650m 3) 4GB Ram 4) 500GB HD 5) Boot Flags (without QE/CI enabled) - USBBusFix=Yes, GraphicsEnabler=No
  21. I'm new to hackintoshing, and fortunately I was able to install and boot niresh 10.9 on my AMD laptop with little resistance. Now i'm faced with a new problem. Some apps crash right after launch like photobooth, chess and most importantly the ios simulator app in xcode. I read that if QE/CI isn't able to run you wouldn't be able to move chess pieces or something, but I can't even open the app. So i'm unsure if it's related to my cause. Help would be very appreciated.
