  2. Push for Baytrail Graphics Kexts

I'm seeking hackintosh noobs and people who desire to hackintosh their computers who own devices with baytrail processors (2013 and later pentium, atom, and celeron). We need highly skilled hackintoshers who can make or modify Mac OSX kernel extensions (kexts) to modify the IntelHD3000 or IntelHD4000 kexts to work with intel gen7 (Baytrail) graphics, as I believe that gen7 is based on the ivy bridge (HD40000) architecture. There are many people who own baytrail tablets or have built their own Baytrail-D pc's who want to hackintosh, but due to lack of support, cannot. I, personally, am running a dell inspiron 11 3000 i1347 model 2in1 pc with baytrail pentium N3530. My Mavericks installation works like a dream all other than the lack of graphics acceleration. To the hackintosh people out there that wish to see these kexts go from wish to reality, please reply to this topic stating that you would support this cause as well, and contribute any useful information you may have on this issue if maybe you're not a complete noob I hope to get the word out about this so we can use the skills and knowledge of the hackintosh community as a whole and over the course of the next year or so possibly have at least some baytrail processors fully supported (graphics and all) in any OSX version 10.9 and up by the end of the year. Happy belated new year to everyone and happy hackintoshing!

  4. Cannot Boot Normally or Change Resolution Hello to all! Yesterday I finished installing OS X Mavericks onto my PC and all is working fine apart from one problem. I cannot change the resolution to anything that isn't 4:3, and I can't boot without the flag nv_disable=1 (which I believe is why I can't change the resolution). I have set up my org.chameleon.Boot.plist correctly as well in case any one asks. Anyways when I boot without that flag I get stuck with AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext timing out (see image). I have been trying to solve this for literally 12 hours and I have tried everything from installing the patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement, to installing the NullCPUPowerManegmenmt.kext. I even installed the AppleACPIPlatform Rollback to see if that would fix it and nothing I have done at all has fixed it. As mentioned before I can boot as long as I use the nv_disable=1 flag but it would be nice to use this at a nicer resolution. Also I do have drivers for my GPU (GTX 750ti) installed and it is detected correctly by the system. I am completely stuck and I have no idea what else to try so any help would be much appreciated! Image of where I get stuck: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4ZVlmeZ7NFnUnlRMHloNURPSGs/view?usp=sharing Thanks in advance!!

  8. Insert kext into OSx installer pkg

Insert kext into OSx installer pkg I created my first Hackintosh using a HP Pavilion A6400f and Snow Leopard. http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01390590 I upped it with 8GB RAM, EVGA nVidia 8400 video card and new WD Blue 500GB HDD. I chose Snow Leopard because I could still get an install disc and both came out around the same time. I got 10.6.7 installed. The system threw up a window saying upgrades were available. I checked and it was for 10.6.8. I started the install process and it apparently it was successful. Now the kicker. When I boot now it gets to the Apple logo and hangs. I've tried using and not using PCIRootUID=1 and going into safe mode. What's keeping it from starting? I read one fix is to replace the ACPIPlatform and IOPCIFamily kexts in 10.6.8 with their 10.6.7 versions. How does one do this?
  9. problem with bluetooth Handoff with bluetooth!!!!!!! I need help to enable handoff, I get it the other day using BTfirmwareuploader and without modifying anything but yesterday I had to recover the system for a problem with kernel because I'm a lot of time modifying and testing new things with kexts, I've tried to do exactly what I did the day that that worked, but know I can't, please help me to fix that, my bluetooth spects are: Versión del Software Bluetooth Apple: 5.0.0f18 Hardware, características y ajustes: Nombre: iMac de Thewavedestroyer Dirección: b0-10-41-23-15-16 Compatible con Bluetooth LE: Sí Compatible con Handoff: No Compatible con Instant Hotspot: No Fabricante: Qualcomm Atheros Transporte: USB Versión del firmware: 7.12545 (7.1) Alimentación Bluetooth: Activado/a Modo visible: Desactivado Conectable: No Búsqueda automática de dispositivo apuntador: Activado/a Activación remota: Activado/a ID del fabricante: 0x0489 ID del producto: 0xE078 Versión HCI: 4.1 (0x7) Revisión HCI: 0x3101 Versión LMP: 4.1 (0x7) Subversión LMP: 0x01 Tipo de dispositivo (mayor): Computer Tipo de dispositivo (completo): Mac Desktop Clase de dispositivo compuesta: 0x380104 Clase de dispositivo (mayor): 0x01 Clase de dispositivo (menor): 0x01 Clase de servicio: 0x1C0 Búsqueda automática de teclado: Activado/a Servicios: Transferencia de archivos Bluetooth: Carpeta que pueden explorar: ~/Public Al recibir ítems: Aceptar todo sin avisar Estado: Desactivado Intercambio de Archivos Bluetooth: Carpeta para los ítems aceptados: ~/Downloads Al aceptar otros ítems: Guardar en ubicación Al recibir ítems: Aceptar todo sin avisar Estado: Desactivado Compartir Internet por Bluetooth: Estado: Desactivado Puertos serie de entrada: Bluetooth-Incoming-Port: Canal RFCOMM: 3 Se necesita autenticación: No
  10. Stuck on Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport Hi all, I'm fairly new but stick with me. I've just completed the first half of the Yosemite Zone install. Now when I boot and select my hard drive with the OS installed to complete the installation and begins setup I keep getting stuck on the one line "****[IOBluetoothHCIController][SearchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport!" After googling around I found that I had to delete the two kept files "AppleIntelHD*.kext" and "AppleIntelF*.kext (http://www.hackurmac...blems-with.html). After more googling around and learning how to do that through single user mode (http://www.osxlatitude.com/remove-kext-from-single-user-mode/).Making sure I typed everything correctly including capitals, punctuation, spaces and whatnot. I got all the way to step 7 where I had to run myfix but when I did it spat out an error saying that the command didn't exist. I tried a few times making sure everything was spelt correctly and it was. I wasn't sure really what to do so I preceded to reboot the system and I'm still stuck on the same error. Does anybody else know how to fix this error or know of a different way to delete kexts? Thanks in advance, Royce Like This
  11. Hello everybody! As you can see from the title, I am here to make somehow the R7 260x gpu work with OS X Yosemite. So I need someone who has more experience in this than me to help me somehow to make this card work. I am also here to test everything you guys suggest to me, and also to test your kexts and files. In my first attempt I had put my device id to the AMD8000Controller.kext and AMDRadeonX4000.kext. This gave me 'grey' screen with the mouse showing and I could move it, and the resolution has changed too. But nothing showed up only that grey screen. (now keep in mind, I was using Chameleon Bootlader, becouse this is the only Bootloader that worked for me so far.) --------- Info about my PC ----------- Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P CPU: Amd FX-6300 3.5Ghz 6 Core RAM: 8 GB 1333Mhz GPU: PowerColor R7 260x 1GB GDDR5 OC Device Id: 0x1002 0x6658
  12. Looking for WiFi and Graphics kexts for Toshiba Satellite L875D. Hi there! So I installed Yosemite Zone on my Satellite laptop, and I really kind of like it! But unfortunately, I can't seem to find the right kexts to enable WiFi and make the annoying visual glitches go away. Can anyone help me out with finding it? I'm not sure of the exact model beyond L875D, but I know my graphics card is an AMD Radeon HD 7520G, and the network card is probably Realtek that uses 802.11n protocol. Again, I'm not sure of the exact model of my laptop, as the tag on the bottom wore off long ago, but this is about my best guess; http://www.cnet.com/products/toshiba-satellite-l875d-s7332-17-3-a-series-a6-4400m-6-gb-ram-640-gb-hdd/specs/ Thanks if you can help, -Coover55, aka Jordan P.S.: Another problem I seem to be having on occasion is that sometimes, when starting up my laptop, it will get stuck on the login screen, with the spinning beach ball of death. So far, I've managed to fix it twice with the solution seen at the bottom, here; https://www.hackintosh.zone/forums/topic/5445-after-installation-stuck-in-log-in-screen-mac-os-x-yosemite-1010-on-amd-radeon/ , but that's twice since successful installation last night. Mind you, this is not a Virtual Machine whereas theirs was, but still. This is not priority numero uno, but a preferably more permanent fix for it would be appreciated. EDIT to P.S.: This has become priority numero uno. I have had to do this again three times since I last said that. What the hell is going on with this? Do I need to reinstall?
  13. AMD Radeon HD 7570 - Drivers?

Hello, Currently I am working on an Hackintosh by using my current computer. My current compute has an AMD FX-6100 and AMD Radeon HD 7570 Drivers. However I am not able to comfortably do the installation because the 7570 is always in low resolution. I have installed Mountain Lion today but modifying kext's don't work. Is there any way to make AMD Radeon HD 7570 work with Niresh? I have 2 screens, both being 1920x1080p Thanks.
  14. Post Installation Issues

First, hello for you that's reading topic. Yosemite 10.10 is the first hackintosh release that could complete the installation and boot into desktop, but I have some problems as listed below: *Incorrect display resolution, should be 1680x1050 but it is actually 1024x768; *Missing Audio, ethernet/wireless; *I can't reboot the system except when I use -s for single user mode. When I just let the system reboot for itself, it freezes at the apple logo with an loading bar at the middle of the loading. Booting with verboose, at some point it says: "AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement may be incomplete or corrupted", so I think that it is some trouble with my motherboard, because I didn't patched it, just did a fresh install of Niresh's hackintosh. I would appreciate some help, I'm trying to get mac running on my system for a long time.

  19. Hello guyz, after a lot of research and uncountable tries with various kernels and kext files, i had successfully installed OSX 10.10.3 on my AMD FX 8350. I would like to help every AMD FX users on how to install 10.10.3 on their System and enable GFX acceleration on nvidia cards. Prerequisites: Download the 10.10.3 Combo update file from the link below. https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1804?locale=en_US Installation Instructions: Step 1: Install Yosemite Zone 10.10.1 with /amd1 bootflag OR Install 10.10.1 with Unibeast drive using amd kernel Step 2: Download the .rar file from the link below and extract it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2tOEfugYcrnTTVtRDNISjBKV2s/view?usp=sharing Step 3: In the rar file you will get a file as "kern" without quotes. Its the kernel file. Copy/paste the file on the root of you hackintosh drive. Also copy/paste two other kext files named as AppleACPIPlatform.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext on the root of your hackintosh or downloads folder of your hackintosh as we will need these two files later. Also Copy/paste the Web driver which i had also given on the rar file. Step 4: Now its time to install the 10.10.3 combo update file which u had downloaded. Step 5: After installing the update file, dont restart your PC. First, you have to copy/paste the pthread.kext file on System/Library/Extensions. or you can use Kext Wizard to install the Kext. You will get the pthread.kext file on the rar file which u had downloaded. On the rar file, you will get a .zip file named as 10102-UPD-Patch-pthread.kext.zip. Extract that zip file and you will get pthread.kext. Step 6: After installing the kext, Fix permissions with Kext wizard and then restart your PC and let the update complete. Step 7: After updating the hackintosh to 10.10.3, its time to boot. So now we need that kernel file which we had pasted on the root directory of the hackintosh drive earlier. So, insert the Yosemite Zone Pendrive as because we need that drive to boot into our hackintosh drive as it has got chameleon installed. Step 8: After inserting the Yosemite Zone Pendrive, boot from the pendrive and select your hackintosh drive from the chameleon boot menu. And now use the following boot flags: /kern -v -x -f Step 9: Patience. It will take some time to boot and after successful boot, it will boot without hardware acceleration. Step 10: Now we need to install the two other kext which we had copied earlier. So fire up Kext Wizard and install those two kext AppleACPIPlatform.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext. After installing the kexts, fix permission using kext wizard. Step 11: install the nvidia web driver which you had copied earlier. After installing the driver, remember to use boot flag nvda_drv=1 on org.chameleon.boot.plist and also copy the kernel file "kern" without quotes to System/Library/kernels and run chameleon Wizard and on org.chameleon.boot. option, tick mark kernel option and on the text bar below type in "kern" without quotes. This will make the OSX boot with kern everytime and you dont need to enter /kern bootflag everytime. Step 12: Reboot your PC and on the Chameleon Boot menu, Choose your hackintosh drive and hit ENTER. ENJOY YOSEMITE 10.10.3 on AMD FX. My Specification: CPU: AMDFX 8350 GPU: NVIDIA GTX 760 RAM: 8GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE MOBO: ASUS M5A97 R2.0
