It is possibel cause people showcase theire t400 working on os x. I appreciate your help, my specs and if someone knows the right settings for the BIOS please let me know Intel Core T9400 (2,5ghz) ATI Mobilty Radeon HD 3400(disabled) Intel GMA4500(activ) Switcher(disabled) 4GB RAM (1066mhz) Thx in advance
  6. Hello! I'm pretty new here. I'm not very technologically smart (I'm honestly quite a noob) but I hope you can bear with me! Here are my computer specs according to CPU-Z: http://imgur.com/a/Cathx I have an HP Pavilion 500-424 PC. It's got 8GB RAM, 2TB hard space, and an AMD A8-6410 APU with integrated Radeon R5 graphics. I have a working, bootable OS X Niresh Mavericks USB drive. I have all of my BIOS settings properly configured (I think - it boots from the USB). I've tried to boot it using multiple flags. I have never got in to the OS X installer. In fact, I can barely get to the Apple logo at all. When I do get to the Apple logo, either nothing happens, or I get an "EFI not supported" error message panic. Other times, I get to a black screen doing absolutely nothing, or my PC just restarts. I have tried hp, amd, amd64, and amdfx as kernels. "amd" gave me an instant "EFI not supported" kernel panic, "amd64" gives me a white screen with the Apple logo doing absolutely nothing (I waited for, like, fifteen minutes and it didn't do anything). "hp" just restarts my computer back to the "select your boot disk" screen. "amd -v" gives me an error: "tsc_init: EFI not supported!\n"@/Users/iMac/Desktop/xnu-2422.1.72_by_bronya_sinetek_anv_rc7/osfmk/i386\tsc.c:616". "amd64 -v" just gives me an infinite black screen after entering the boot flags and getting past the boot disk menu. "hp -v" just restarts my computer. I'm using VGA (as my monitor doesn't have anything else I can use). Did I not wait long enough on the Apple logo with "amd64", or did I not wait long enough at the black screen in "amd64 -v" (I waited for five minutes)? Or am I simply not using the right boot flags? Any help that may lead me in the right direction would be of great help! Thank you!
  7. Updating Niresh Mavericks from 10.9.0 to 10.9.5 These methods are tested and verified on my AMD Desktop (Asus M5A97, AMD FX 6100 & ATI Radeon HD 6850) and Dell Inspiron 15 3521 Laptop (3rd Gen i3, Intel HD 4000). Both systems now run on 10.9.5. You can download the Mavericks 10.9.5 Combo Update from this link : http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1760 If you simply run the updater it will remove all the customization done by the Niresh-Mavericks installer. So first, we need to make sure all our necessary files and kexts are backed up. Before we proceed, make sure you have the Niresh-Mavericks bootable USB or DVD. To be on the safe side, I would recommend creating a Time Machine backup, so that you can restore your working version if something goes wrong. Take a screenshot of Org.chameleon.Boot.plist tab of Chameleon Wizard, just in case if some settings has been disabled by the update. * Open Terminal from Applications and the login as root user by entering following command. sudo i Enter Password. * Next step is making a copy of the Mavericks kernel. To make it easier to understand I'm going to call my Mavericks installed partition as " MAVERICKS " Change " MAVERICKS " with name of your OSX partition when you enter the commands. cp /Volumes/MAVERICKS/mach_kernel /Volumes/MAVERICKS/mach_kernel_ok Please check the spaces after cp and between mach_kernel and /Volumes, it is very important. * Now we must make a copy of Extensions folder. cp R /Volumes/MAVERICKS/System/Library/Extensions /Volumes/MAVERICKS/System/Library/Extensions_ok Please check the spaces between cp & R & /Volumes and also between /Extensions & /Volumes Now that we have backed-up all our settings and kexts, its time to install the Mavericks 10.9.5 Combo Update. Run update package and the installer will take up to 10 minutes to install all new updates and it will reboot. Connect your bootable Mavericks USB or DVD and boot into the installer using these flags. xpcm-free -v You will be booted into the Install Screen. Select Continue, and click on Utilities in the toolbar and select Terminal. Run following commands to restore working kernel and extensions. * Here we rename the updated kernel. mv /Volumes/MAVERICKS/mach_kernel /Volumes/MAVERICKS/mach_kernel_bad * Now we are going to replace it with our working mach_kernel backup file. cp /Volumes/MAVERICKS/mach_kernel_ok /Volumes/MAVERICKS/mach_kernel * Now we are renaming the Extensions folder. mv /Volumes/MAVERICKS/System/Library/Extensions /Volumes/MAVERICKS/System/Library/Extensions_bad * Now we are going to replace it with our own copy of Extensions mv /Volumes/MAVERICKS/System/Library/Extensions_ok /Volumes/MAVERICKS/System/Library/Extensions Type exit, hit Enter and close the Terminal. Now remove USB/DVD and reboot the system. Now select your Mavericks installed partition and add the following boot flags if required. -x -v -f Enter your account password and login to your desktop. Open Kext Wizard from the Applications folder. Use it to Repair Permissions and Rebuild System Caches. It will take a while to complete. After it is done, open Chameleon Wizard and check whether any options has been unselected in Org.chameleon.Boot.plist tab. If some options and removed, check them again using the screenshot and save them.. From the first tab of Chameleon Wizard, select Built-In and Boot0hfs and click execute. (Installing the boot loader again may not be necessary, but I'm not taking any chances.) Now restart your Desktop/Laptop and if you are lucky and followed the steps exactly you will be booted into OSX Mavericks 10.9.5. Click the Apple Logo and select About This Mac to check whether the Update worked or not. Now you can remove the bad kernel and extensions folder, they are not needed anymore. [ Note : iOS Developers can use Xcode 6 with 10.9.3 Update, Yosemite is not required. And you can keep your copy of Xcode 5 as well, just rename it as Xcode 5.) Credits : soulskater (Its his guide, I simply made it a bit more easier to understand) Please point out if there are any errors in this Guide.
  8. Niresh Mavericks - Trackpad not working!! I really hope someone can help me, it's been a week since I've been able to use my laptop. I recently tried to install and run "Niresh Mavericks" on my HP Folio 9470m. Everything went well up until I realized I couldn't use my trackpad. The trackpad will work during the actual installation of Mavericks but once I boot Mavericks after it's installed, the trackpad refuses to work. The keyboard works fine. I've tried ever combination of settings when customizing the installation and still nothing works. I don't have another laptop at my disposal so I'm stuck with this crap. I don't know what else to do. I don't wanna give up on this project. I've seen HP laptop hackintosh builds and I know my laptop is more than capable of doing this. I even tried using a USB mouse and that still didn't work. Please someone help me !!

  16. Trouble Installing Niresh Mavericks With AMD FX-6200 My system is the AMD FX-6200 CPU, a GeForce GT 740 GPU, 8GB Adata RAM, 3TB Seagate HDD, ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0 Motherboard. I am installing Niresh off of a 64GB USB3.0 USB in a 2.0 port, onto a 150GB partition on my 3TB hard drive. Windows is on my 120GB SSD. I have downloaded the Niresh Mavericks torrent file and used Win32DiskImager to make the USB bootable. I boot from the USB and it prompts me to use boot flags. I have tried multiple combinations of -amdfx, -amd, -amd64, npci=0x2000, npci=0x3000, cpus=1, -force64, arch=i386, GraphicsEnabler=Yes, -x, -no-zp and GraphicsEnabler=No. At first I couldn't format the partition because there was no EFI partition, but I added it and then I could proceed with the installation. I have tried with clicking customize and following tutorials and without customizing anything. I click install and the bar will reach around the word niresh, and then it says the installer failed. The last thing in the log is something about being unable to extract base system something or other.pkg. Please help!

  22. Greetings! I Would like to put this request before the numerous Dev's On Here. As HP is one of the famous companies working with Laptops AIOs etc Many Users have faced this problem due to the presence of the Ralink Wifi-Bluetooth adapter which doesnt have a kext online. Basically the person using this kind of Laptop has everything working except the internet. Making the Hackintosh unusable as no apps can be installed The Ubuntu/Linux Dev's worked on it and patched a few lines of the driver code to get it working on linux. So Basically I wanted the Dev Team to atleast give the driver a try if you need a tester for the driver i am here because I'm in the above state! Chipset model : Ralink RT 3290 Thanks if someone has started the work after reading this post and also to the people who gave time to read this post! ===============================================================================

Tried USBBusFix=Yes and that just makes my screen go black. Boot flags: amd -v -s hp GraphicsEnabler=Yes (It's a laptop board in a PC tower. Stupid HP..) Also, this build was verified to work with the Niresh's version of Mavericks, which is what I'm trying to install.
