  1. Hello, I have successfully installed Niresh Mavericks 10.9. But when ever I want to install any other 'free' mac softwares, like XCode etc. It is asking me to update my Mavericks to 10.9.5 (I think) But when I update it from App Store, after update the system doesn't boot up, hangs at the Apple White screen. Pls tell me how can I update my Mavericks without breaking my hackintosh? Regards

  4. Hello experts, Thanks to Hackintosh and Niresh for the wonderful work. I never had a Mac and this is the first time I am trying to install OS x. I am encountered with an error and would like to get some help / suggestions from you guys for completing my installation. I am stuck at around 12 minutes left to finish installation and there the installer failed. This is what the installer log says: PackageKit: Install Failed: Error Domain=PKInstallErrorDomain Code=110 "An error occurred while extracting files from the package "Essentials.pkg"." I am installing Niresh Mavericks 10.9 (.iso downloaded on 11/26/2014 using torrent) in Oracle VM VirtualBox 4.3.20 Host details: Think Pad OS: Windows 7 Enterprise edition (64bit) Processor Intel® Core i5-4300U RAM: 8GB Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 Inter Ethernet Connection 1218-LM RealTek High Defenition Audio Display 1600x900 Not sure what other (host) information is required. Please shout if you need anything more. I do not have access to a real Mac and don't have the 'know how' of any tool to fix installer or a pkg file. Kindly advise if there is anything I could do to fix the error and complete my installation. I really don't like to drop this at this stage after all the effort. Looking forward for some help. Thanks in Advance Deepak
  5. Hi, I already installed Niresh ML on one of the 4 partitions of my DELL laptop. It is working well apart from wifi and internet. I don't mind because I use the wifi from Windows 8 which I installed in another partition. Now I want to install Niresh Mavericks on the 3rd partition. I followed how to prepare a USB installer on this site and started to install Niresh Mavericks. The grey apple appeared with a small sphere turning underneath. After that there was a picture of a keyboard which appeared on a white screen with the movable cursor of the mouse with the following note "To pair a Bluetooth Keyboard, turn it on and wait for your computer to connect it." After a long while nothing happens even after I click the mouse over the picture. I don't know what to do to continue installing Mavericks. May someone help me please. My Laptop Specs are as follows: Dell Inspiron 15 3521 CPU - Intel i3 3rd Gen. 3217u 1.8Ghz 4 GB RAM Graphics Card - Intel HD 4000. Thanks in advance Sanan. R
  6. Hi, I'm installing Niresh Mavericks on PC for the first time, but then found that I can only boot into Mavericks by using my Niresh Mavericks on USB with the "-x" boot flag, otherwise I'd be stuck on the Apple logo and the spinning wheel forever. When I run -v I got an error message that says "this is an unknown cpu model 0x3c, power management may be incomplete or unsupported" and "Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport". The complete error message is in the attached picture. I have set my SSD to AHCI, xHCI to Auto, and xHCI and eHCI to enabled in BIOS. And in the /Extensions folder I can see the NullCPUPowerManagement.kext file. Can anyone please give me a clue about what's wrong here? Thanks for any help. 8. Hard drive booting Problem

Hi there all, I have successfully installed Niresh Mavericks 10.9 on my system. The system is running flawlessly. My specs are - AMD FX - 4100 Quad Core 3.6GHz Processor Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P Motherboard Sapphire Radeon HD6450 1GB DDR3 GPU 4GB DDR3 RAM 500 GB WDC SATA Hard Disk Drive Graphics acceleration is full automagically! But................Yeah, there is a but. I have just one problem, and I think that's a major problem (may be a minor too, but to me it's a major) cause in every tutorial I have seen that everyone boots into Hard Drive after the installation. But I couldn't. I had to boot into USB first and then had to choose the Hard drive partition and entered the boot flags for booting into that partition. I didn't get the screen in the below mentioned link. Everyones boot0: done is shown at the top left corner, but mines shows at the bottom left. And from there it directly goes into the apple logo screen. So if anyone having the same issue, but has a stable build, please let me know cause it's bothering me so much. Here is my build of Niresh Mavericks 10.9 -
  9. Fully Working i5 3330

i5 3330 - Processor Gigabyte GA-H61N-S2P -Mobo Geinward nVidia GeForce GTX 560 TI 1024 GDDR5 -Graphics -works OOB, Graphicsenabler YES - connected to VGA 8Gb DDR3 - Transcend 2x4GB - Memory Presonus Audiobox USB - Suond - The default sound from the Mobo is also working Chameleon bootloader Thanx to Niresh!!! Cheers Edit: I replaced the GA H61M-S2P motherboard with GA Z77X-UD3H on this rig, and it's booting without reinstalling the system. The only things I was needed to fix are the ethernet kext and the sound kext.
  10. Hi there guys, My PC has the below configuration - AMD FX - 4100 Bulldozer 3.6 GHz Processor Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P 500 GB WD HDD I tried to install Niresh Mavericks on my PC but it always boot with the boot flags amdfx -v and stuck at [PCI Configuration Begin]. After this point my computer shuts down, and do not want to restart for a couple of time. I have tried the boot flag PCIRootUID=0 and PCIRootUID=1 both but no luck. Tried a couple of different boot flags too but none of 'em worked. So now my query is, can I even install any Hackintosh on my system? I am really disappointed at this point. I know that it's kinda kernel panic, that's why it's not booting. Should I install chameleon or multibeast as a boot loader in my bootable USB? So if anyone here has the same configuration as mine or nearly mine please give a solution. I really love hackintosh and I'm desperate to build one. Please guys, it's really tough for me now to buy a intel based processor. Thanks in advance guys. Long live Niresh.

  13. The 2 wifi dongles mentioned above use the rtl8192cu wifi chipset at 300Mbps 802.11n. The kext is available at https://www.hackintosh.zone/file/47-rtl-8192cu-kext-1085/. Works flawless and is super-fast on Niresh Mavericks 10.9.0. I think even the wn822n may have the same chipset. (Strange thing is the rtl8192cu works on all Linux, windows7/8/8.1, FreeBSD, PC-BSD and Niresh Mavericks...yet to try on android x86....he...he....he...he...he ) WARNING: THE SAME DEVICES(MODEL NO) CAN HAVE DIFFERENT CHIPSETS BASED ON RALINK OR OTHERS!!. ALTHOUGH I HAVE RECENTLY BOUGHT THEM I DONT KNOW WHETHER THE CHIPSETS CHANGE ACCORDING TO REGION OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON.
  14. Hi guys im new here. First up, I'd like to congratulate and Thank Niresh and everyone who has participated in bringing Mac OsX to AMD systems... Now i have an AMD A8 4500M based laptop --- model no HP G6 2005ax. Ram is 8gb 1600mhz, ssd is zalman 240gb(correctly detected), GPU is on APU-7640g + 1GB dedicated HD 7670 GDDR3. I dont use windows much and mostly use linux. Basing the fact that Macintosh OS is based on FreeBSD and FreeBSD installations are synonymous with the "dd" command, I was able to successfully get niresh mavericks booting with usb flash disks using the dd command on linux. dd if=/home/<USERNAME/Downloads/OSX-Mavericks.dmg of=/dev/sdd bs=64k conv=sync The installation starts and im able to get past the boot screen by typing the "amdfx" flag and even went on to create my journaled disk. Next i clicked install and it starts but after a while at 19% the installer races ahead and a screen appears with a yellow exclamation mark and says installed failed. I tried with another usb stick but with same results. The screen i get and the problem is similar to this: https://www.hackintosh.zone/forums/topic/527-solvedinstalling-mac-osx-109-on-amd-fx-8120/ i tried passing a few parameters but the result is the same everytime. Any help would be greatly appreciated as to how to get passed the exclamation mark. Thanks. pam
