  2. Can't Boot From USB

Can't Boot From USB Hi I need help, I can't seem to boot my USB Installer made ff this guide: https://www.hackintosh.computer/25/mavericks-zone-guide/ It just won't boot from USB, even though I forced it to boot from it. BIOS Settings configured well. Unit: Samsung NP300E4A CPU: Intel Core i3 2350M GPU: Intel HD 3000 RAM: 4GB OS: Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit (GPT-UEFI) When booting, it will jump straight to my OS (Ubuntu) Using CD/DVD is not an option as I have a broken Optical Drive. I tried booting Clonezilla Live and Windows 10 installer and they're all good. Also, the installer from the guide above works on my PC, it's just this laptop. Thanks!

I got Hp Envy 15-u110dx x360 Processor : intel core i5-5200U CPU@ 2.20Ghz Graphics : Intel HD Graphics 5500 RAM : 8GB HDD : 1TB
  4. Hi, guys! I installed the Niresh12495-OSX-10.8-USB version into my Toshiba Satellite C855-S5214. This laptop originally comes with an Intel B970 processor, but I changed it to a Pentium 2030M for virtualization support (VT-x) and upgraded to 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz RAM. I also changed out the half pci-e wifi to an Atheros AR9280 for native OS X support and added an iOmega Bluetooth 4.0 USB dongle, which is also natively supported so long as EHCI loads properly. Now that i stated all the mods, I guess I can now ask: How can I properly update to 10.8.5 without failing the update installation? LOL I attached the installer log, so hopefully someone can help me figure out what I should do. I know that you may ask, "Why didn't you just use Niresh 10.8.5?" The reason I didn't, although I tried, is that the 10.8 version is automagically giving me 771 MB of VRAM under Intel HD Graphics (based on HD 2500) for this processor whereas the 10.8.5 distro is giving me a black screen or whatever else it may do and I have no idea where to begin to fix that. LOL I've been going on all this for about a week now. The SMBIOS for this 10.8 install was automatically generated as a MacPro3,1. So, outside of all that crap that I wrote, again I ask: How can I properly update to 10.8.5 without failing the update installation? Thanks for any and all assistance or suggestions you may give and sorry for all the writing. Just trying to be somewhat detailed. LOL Very respectfully, Ricky Installer Log 5-Oct-2015.txt smbios.plist org.chameleon.Boot.plist
  5. Toshiba running linux from main SSD. Have 750GB Toshiba HDD in CD/DVD slot - I get to Disk Utility and do the necessaries many times: 1. I have tried to install to HDD partition formatted hfsplus with gparted - Cannot install - "Request failed to initalize." 2. I have cleared the HDD and given it a MAC partition table and a single hfsplus partition - Cannot install - "Request failed to initalize." 3. I have erased the HDD and given it a MSDOS partition table and a single vfat (32) partition - Cannot install - "Request failed to initalize." 4. I have used the 'partition' option in the disk utility to set up the HDD with a target partition - Cannot install - "Request failed to initalize." 6. Disk Utility Erase Failed

Hi, I'm newbie here, I'm using laptop Asus A46C COre i5 Nvidia Geforce 740M. I want to install my laptop into Mac OS X. I found a tutorial using niresh in youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD9kfotqbCk Now my laptop is partitioned into C and D, and C is already using Windows 8.1. I want to change C (Windows 8.1) into Mac OS X. and still keep the D partition. I follow all your step by step from that video, and it's worked normally until I want try to erase the partition into Mac Extended Journaled. But on my case is I erased my Windows System ©, I want to make Mac OS Niresh to be my primary OS. But, when I try to do that, It's error and said "Volume erased failed, MediaKits reports not enough spaced for device....". But my system partition is 150GB. It's not make sense.. Please help me to solve this. THank you very much
