  1. Need help Radeon HD 6470m/6760m

Need help Radeon HD 6470m/6760m I have a HP Elitebook 8560p. The device id says 6760 (0x67601002). I can't get it to work with GPU acceleration in Sierra. Pasted is a AMD Framebuffer dump. I need help patching the kexts, and my config.plist to enable GPU & openCL in Sierra. IF it also works in Mavericks, I would appreciate help. I will donate to the cause if you can modify these kext, my config pllist, and whatever else to get my GPU working in sierra. Config.plist <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> 3. Screen goes nuts at first boot I can install Maverick or Yosemite without a problem. But when I boot for the first time, my screen goes nuts (as seen in the picture). At the point of selecting a Country it freezes and after 20 Minutes I get to the Desktop and only an external USB Keyboard and Mouse work. (USB 2.0 Ports used not the 3.0) I've tried with "GraphicsEnabler=Yes or No" and" IGPEnabler=Yes or No" as well as -x or -f. Notebook is a HP Elitebook 8460p with an SSD and 16GB of RAM. Any ideas for a fix?
  4. Hello. I have successfully installed Niresh's Distro of Mac OS X Mavericks on my AMD system (specs to be told at end). After working hard and wasting many hours I could have been doing something else, I was able to boot without -x (safe boot). But now I have a Boot0 Error. But thats none of my concern as I can boot off the install flash drive just fine. I have a more important problem now. iCloud. I've tried all the methods I've read online and none of them seem to work. However, iTunes and the App Store signed in without a problem and is working like a real Mac would. I tired the Ethernet to "en0", adding "FileNVRAM.dylib" to modules folder. Nothing seems to work. Since I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem, I was hoping to get some expert or someone who just happens to know a way that works. Thanks for the help in advance. My PC as follows: Processor: AMD FX 8350 Motherboard: GIGABYTE 990-FXA-UD3 RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) Kingston Blue Hyper X @ 1600MhZ Storage: 1TB HDD (no Mac OS X here, just Windows 10) 750GB HDD (Mac OS X drive) Graphics Card: MSI R9 280X (worked out of the box, no kexts needed. Only GraphicsEnabler=No boot flag) Included are some random screenshots.

  7. Greetings from brazil!! How to fix "A Graphics problem has been detected" Boot up or Restart your system and In the boot screen add this code line msi base=0x90 and the graphics gonna work normally. After that open the spotlight and look for the Extra folder open this archive (org.chameleon.Boot.plist ) add this code msibase=0x90 in the bootline just save and reboot. Example: <string>npci=0x3000 darkwake=0 dart=0 nvda_drv=1 msibase=0x90 ahcidisk=1 debug=8</string> It's a simple tutorial for the new users.
  8. so this isn't actually a problem just wan't to help because i had a problem yesterday on the dualboot of my laptop. Everytime i booted up my laptop it said Boot0 : error and that isn't good so here is a fix to remove hackintosh from dualboot if you cannot boot into any of these operating systems. 1) you need a usb or CD with ubuntu or windows follow method 1 for windows live CD/USB and method 2 for Ubuntu or any other linux distro that has grub bootloader. method 1 : 1) boot up from your live windows vista/7/8/8.1 CD/USB (of course!) 2) click on repair computer 3) troubleshoot>Advanced>command prompt (or just try and open cmd) 4) type in bootrec.exe /fixmbr 5) next click on startup repair 6) bootup to windows and remove the hackintosh partition method 2 : 1) boot up from your live ubuntu CD/USB 2) open the installer when you select the option (on how to install) something else 3) format the hackintosh partition and use the free space to create the different partitions to install ubuntu (or any linux distro with grub bootloader) 4) install ubuntu 5) now you have the option to choose your OS click on windows loader 6) grab another usb thats empty 7) write windows installer on it 8) follow method 1 or if u want to keep grub bootloader with ubuntu then u can stop here i am writing the windows installer as i am writing this it happended to me ;( but now its fixed
  9. White screen after boot

I've searched the whole net for a fix. Can't seem to find one. I'm new to hackintoshing, and I've never ever owned a hackintosh (I own several Mac computers). I have an AMD FX machine in which I installed the Niresh AMD Mavericks distro on it flawlessly by booting the installation with the "amdfx" appendix. The thing is, after the install I can't get the OS to boot. All I get is a white screen after the apple logo. I've tried all the commands I could find on the web, nothing works. I read somewhere that maybe the fact that I'm using a SSD drive could be the issue. Could you guys agree to that? If it is then it sucks bad because SSD drives rock. Anyways, any ideas on what could I do to get this party started? Thanks in advance!!!
  10. Hello, hackintoshers. It was just a day ago that I got my hackintosh up and running almost 100% perfect. The only three things missing (that I am aware of) is that I can't change my brightness (I will fix that later), I can't use HDMI (Totally fine with that) and, what made me write this post, I am only able to boot my system using 1 core of my Dual-Core processor, aka; cpus=1... The reason that I installed this hackintosh is to program in Xcode and that, and use some other apps that demand CPU power, which I cannot achieve with only 1 core... My details are; HP Pavilion DV7 4077cl (Once I fix this I will post a full guide on how I reached 10.9.5 with niresh and make it work almost to perfection, and will give credit to everyone that helped me achieve it) 8gb of Ram perfectly working Integrated Intel HD Graphics (100% Working thanks to a guide I saw...) Intel Core i3 350M 2.26Ghz... -> Arrandale in early 2010. Dual-Core with multithread (2 Physical cores and 2 Virtual ones) So, is the anything I could do to fix this? (I posted a picture of the kernel panic I get in verbose if I don't use cpus=1) If you need extra information let me know. Thanks, all of you. Pic: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lxoat99oxua77yb/IMG_7617.JPG?dl=0 EDIT: I tried disabling the Intel Virtualization Technology and boot with dart=0... I also tried the Voodo kext for 4 cores but mine has two, so I guess that's why it didn't work. SOLUTION: Apply Lapic Kernel Patch.
  11. Hi, I'm having an issue making iCloud work. The only one that works for me is App Store, the rest won't work. I've already tried the solution with EfiStudio, and already downloaded the Nvram file into Modules folder. Any further help will be very appreciated. Thank you.

But i cannot get Apple store to work. I am already using the boot option Ethernet Built In but i still get the error message. 15. Working Intel Hackintosh Build*2014

Hey Guys! I had always wanted to build Hackintosh since Leopard days. Unfortunately, I never had ANY knowledge with booting/bios so it took alot of research. After 3-4 times of reinstalling and installing Niresh 10.9 and fixing errors I finally got it to work smoothly! This basically runs as a legitimate mac pro. I have had NO errors since My Hackintosh build: These are the "Main" hardware* MotherBoard: P8Z77-V PRO*Wifi-togo unfortunately does not work GraphicsCard:EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti Approx. 2 GB CPU: Intel i7 3770k 3.5 ghz, (with integrated INTEL HD)** This conflicted with my Nvidia 660 ti graphics during installation and first boot up. I had to use kext's to fix this issue. Corsair Vengeance 4GB Ram (X2) Total Ram=8 GB Seagate Barracuda 2 TB Hard Drive*(Used for Hackintosh ONLY)** Crucial M500 120 GB Solid State Drive*(For Windows 7 OS) WD Blue 1 TB Hard Drive*(For my Windows File storage etc..) Non-important Other Parts* CoolMaster Case Anker Precision Mouse Razer Black Widow Ultimate 2014 Edition ASUSVH242H Display SME2420L Display 4 Fans 2 Disk Readers+ USB+ SD card readers blah blah blah. . . Built this computer 2 years prior to installing Mac Os X. Some of the hardware are a bit old. (LOL) Note: I actually installed Windows 7 before I started installing Niresh 10.9 The only hard drive I really used for this is the Seagate Barracuda 2 TB. I honestly don't know how to correctly Duo boot, so instead I have to manually change the boot setting whenever I want to boot between Windows and Mac. MacP0ison was used to fix all the Audio issues+ Much smoother Hackintosh Kext used to fix major graphics card issue conflicting with the integrated INTEL HD Manual Update installation was used to update to 10.9.3 Successfully without Kernel Panic. . . 16. Voodoo Battery

    Version 10.9

    21,827 downloads

This is the Voodoo Battery kext that enables the Battery meter & percentage for almost all laptops running on OSX Mavericks 10.9.x Use this if you either lost battery percentage upgrading from a previous version of OSX or if you have no battery percentage at all. This package contains two kexts. Install both of them manually or with a kext installer of your preference. 1) Voodoo Battery 2) AppleACPIPlatform After install if battery meter doesn't show up, go to Settings > Energy Saver > Enable Show battery status in menubar By the Voodoo Labs
  17. DISCLAIMER : The 10.9.2 update has broken a lot of installations of Niresh's Mavericks distro due to a new version of Darwin. The steps described below are a generic solution as discussed on various parts of the forums. This is just a re-organized and structured version of the fix. This may not necessarily work for all OSX installs. So instead of only using the kexts packaged by Niresh, please backup any custom kernels or even better your entire extensions folder. Stuff you need : 1) A 1 GB USB (any size actually) 2) The Niresh Mavericks Installer USB 3) An already working mavericks install (optional) If you are stuck with a non-booting Installation of OSX Mavericks : 1) Head over to Windows and download Transmac. 2) Download the PCI Config Kexts from here. 3) Plug in your 1 GB USB and format it to Mac OSX Extended Journaled by right clicking and selecting "Format Disk for Mac" 4) Make a folder named Extensions in the root directory of the USB in Transmac (+HFS Volumes > Right click on White Space > Make New Folder) 5) Copy the kexts (not the folder, the kexts ! ) you downloaded into the Extensions folder. 6) Rename your 1 GB USB to FIX. (If you can't do this using Transmac, format the USB using the Niresh Installer and rename to FIX. Then proceed with Transmac steps (without formatting of course) You're done for the windows part ! Now boot into the Niresh Mavericks Installer 1) Plug in your 1 GB USB after the Welcome Screen has appeared 2) Go to disk utility and mount your FIX usb (Right Click the USB > Mount) 3) Open Terminal and type the following : ditto -V /Volumes/FIX/Extensions/*there is a single space here*/Volumes/*THE NAME OF YOUR HARD DRIVE*/System/Library/Extensions/ chown -R root:wheel /Volumes/*THE NAME OF YOUR HARD DRIVE*/System/Library/Extensions/ chmod -R 755 /Volumes/*THE NAME OF YOUR HARD DRIVE*/System/Library/Extensions/ 2) Exit out of Terminal and Reboot 3) Your Hackintosh should finally boot into OSX 10.9.2 If you have a Working Mavericks Installation before hand: 1) Just copy the PCI Fix kexts into a USB Formatted using Disk Utility into Mac OSX Extended Journaled and repeat the same steps from step number 6. 2) Additionally backup the Extensions folder and your Kernels to the USB with a different directory name. Cheers

  20. Rebooting During Boot Install Cd

Hello there. I have got a problem. I am trying to install the Niresh Mountain Lion 10.8.2. I can get only into bootloader (when I select boot media (CD/USB), the PC go to restart, or it get kernel panic). My PC configuration : CPU : AMD Athlon II X4 750K Black (4x4,0GHz turbo) RAM : 8GB DDR3 VGA : ATI Radeon HD4850 512MB MB : Gigabyte F2A55M-DS2 Any help or solution? (sry for my bad english, I am from Slovakia )
  21. Hey everybody. This is a quick way to fix stuttering Audio will start to stutter - thats why you have clear sound when you move your mouse around. Now for me, i try'd different kext's and solutions like activating SSE2 on Voodoo PrefPane and almost every other solution that is floating around on the Interwebs. So im using a Quadcore AMD Cpu , and my way to "fix" this bug is to put the CPU usage on 100%. But since you're using multiple Cpu's your performance won't go down. For example i can still run everything very fast and crisp, even games still run without any problems. Long story short > i noticed no difference in performance. But this might change on a different AMD CPU . So try it on your own risk. But let me assure (this won't brick your OSX Installation its just a terminal command). How to Disable: "no > /dev/null" without quotation marks into Terminal app. Enjoy and have a nice day! And much thanks to Niresh crew for providing great mackintosh distros.
