  1. Hi. I installed Yosemite in my lapton Dell Inspiron 3421 for the first time (Never used a MAC). Everything works fine for now I installed Yosemite normally in the first boot Yosemite "OSX-Installer" start to "optimize my hackintosh" but when It finish nothing has changed. The hackintosh works fluid but the sound and network and graphic driver does not work... I fixed the network issue ussing a TP-LINK modem but the screen and the sound does not work. Here is an screenshot of the screen error. How can I fix the issue of the sound and screen in my yosemite installation (I'm a noob in this as I said above)

  3. Apps Crashing (Graphics) Hello Guys! I've spent the last three days, trying to get Yosemite installed on my pc. I’ve finally got it installed, but I'm still facing some problems. When I first got it installed, I'd always get the “A graphics problem has been detected” message. Somehow I managed to get rid of that, but it seems the same error keeps happening, just without the message Whenever I open Safari, App Store, or press certain buttons in apps, they always crash. I've installed the Nvidia cudadriver 6.5 btw. System: - AMD fx 8210 - m5A99X EVO R2.0 - Ram: Kingston Hyper beast 8 GB - Gtx 660 Msi twin frozr 3 - 500gb HDD This is the boot flags I've tried out, all with pretty much the same result -f -v npci=0x3000 -f -v npci=0x3000 nv_disable=1 nvda_drv=1 -f -v npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=No -f -v npci=0x3000 nv_disable =1 Heres a video that shows you the full boot process, and the error as well. I hope you can help me out

  5. Help with Intel G530 graphics @Niresh I need your help please! On my desktop computer I have an Asrock H61M-VS mobo with Intel Celeron G530 CPU and integrated graphics. The only successful Hackintosh installation I’ve ever done is the one with your Sierra distro 10.12.3 in which graphics works perfectly. I wanted to ask you what did you put in your distro to make also G530 integrated graphics working. With every other way to install Hackintosh on a pc I’m unable to get to the installer as I’m stuck in verbose mode due to unsupported graphics. Please answer me, thank you so much!
  6. Dell Latitude D620 Graphics Drivers So I have a Dell Latitude D620 with Intel GMA 945GM Graphics, I was sucessfully able to install Hackintosh Yosemite-Zone.dmg onto it but I have run into a error, at the bootup it says VESA 7MB and says the graphics (Intel GMA945GM) but when it boots to Yosemite it is so slow and can barely work due to the fact that it only has 7mb of VRAM to work with it, I'm not that good at Hackintoshing and so I was wondering if anyone knew on how to fix this problem, by installing some new graphics kexts? maybe some of you can link them to me in the description of this post, I hope someone can help me out, so if you think you know what this problem is just let me know down below and thanks for reading!!! ~ PotatoBoi (because im a potato scrub when it comes to hackintoshing)
  7. Post Installation Setup & Problems Hackintosh Sierra 10.12.3 My Setup::::: Toshiba Satellite p55w-c5204 Processor: intel i7-5500u Graphics: Intel HD 5500 Audio: Realtek High Definition Audio Hard Drive: SSD 256 GB Ram: 8GB (4GB x 2) Display: Full HD IPS Wireless: Intel Wireless 7265AC I've successfully installed Hackintosh Sierra 10.12.3 with the help of TransMac app. I know the wireless isn't working as of now. So I've purchased a wireless usb device(Prolink WN2001) and it works. I somehow managed to make things work like audio, battery percentage etc. The main problem I'm facing is with Bootloader & Graphics. Intel HD5500 is detected but shows 7MB. The windows counterpart I've previously checked shows Dynamic Memory of 128 MB by default so it shouldn't be problem. My questions are::: 1. How can I boot with hard drive without USB being plugged in? 2. How to fix the graphics issue? Do osx need to be booted from the hard drive in order to fix graphics issue? Any help would be appreciated. ~Thanks
  8. Dual Monitors Connected, Only One Works! Hey guys, I have a bit of a problem I just installed OSX 10.9 with clover on it, and I can only get a single monitor to work (Same one every time) and in settings it detects it. My graphics card is a Nvidia GT 610 2gb from Zotac. In windows 10 both monitors worked fine. The one that works is connecting via DVI on both ends, and the other (one that doesn't work) is coming out a DVI, then goes into an adapter that changes it to HDMI. The one that does not work is an LG Ultrawide, and I have installed LG's drivers for the monitor on the Mac. When I searched this problem on the internet, I didn't really find a good or logical answer anywhere..... Anyone here know of a solution for this? Thanks Papa Bless P.S. If you need more info, make sure to let me know!
  9. Push for Baytrail Graphics Kexts

I'm seeking hackintosh noobs and people who desire to hackintosh their computers who own devices with baytrail processors (2013 and later pentium, atom, and celeron). We need highly skilled hackintoshers who can make or modify Mac OSX kernel extensions (kexts) to modify the IntelHD3000 or IntelHD4000 kexts to work with intel gen7 (Baytrail) graphics, as I believe that gen7 is based on the ivy bridge (HD40000) architecture. There are many people who own baytrail tablets or have built their own Baytrail-D pc's who want to hackintosh, but due to lack of support, cannot. I, personally, am running a dell inspiron 11 3000 i1347 model 2in1 pc with baytrail pentium N3530. My Mavericks installation works like a dream all other than the lack of graphics acceleration. To the hackintosh people out there that wish to see these kexts go from wish to reality, please reply to this topic stating that you would support this cause as well, and contribute any useful information you may have on this issue if maybe you're not a complete noob I hope to get the word out about this so we can use the skills and knowledge of the hackintosh community as a whole and over the course of the next year or so possibly have at least some baytrail processors fully supported (graphics and all) in any OSX version 10.9 and up by the end of the year. Happy belated new year to everyone and happy hackintoshing!

  12. Cannot Boot Normally or Change Resolution Hello to all! Yesterday I finished installing OS X Mavericks onto my PC and all is working fine apart from one problem. I cannot change the resolution to anything that isn't 4:3, and I can't boot without the flag nv_disable=1 (which I believe is why I can't change the resolution). I have set up my org.chameleon.Boot.plist correctly as well in case any one asks. Anyways when I boot without that flag I get stuck with AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext timing out (see image). I have been trying to solve this for literally 12 hours and I have tried everything from installing the patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement, to installing the NullCPUPowerManegmenmt.kext. I even installed the AppleACPIPlatform Rollback to see if that would fix it and nothing I have done at all has fixed it. As mentioned before I can boot as long as I use the nv_disable=1 flag but it would be nice to use this at a nicer resolution. Also I do have drivers for my GPU (GTX 750ti) installed and it is detected correctly by the system. I am completely stuck and I have no idea what else to try so any help would be much appreciated! Image of where I get stuck: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4ZVlmeZ7NFnUnlRMHloNURPSGs/view?usp=sharing Thanks in advance!!

  16. Weird Post Installation Problems and Glitches I'm having numerous problems after installing macOS Sierra Zone. I created a bootable drive using the dmg file, and installation went smoothly with boot-args: npci=0x3000 and kcsuffix=amd1. The problems I'm facing is: The icons on the menu bar (the finder bar) don't show up. The apple logo on the extreme left is missing and all the icons are distorted smudge of colours. And the graphics is not working. Desktop tearing is occurring and the 'About this mac' shows graphics card as 'AMD Radeon 4330M 4 MB'. My laptop doesn't have 4330M, the GPU is 7460G and the discrete graphics card is 7670M. The hackintosh detects the 7670M, but the 4330M is set as the primary display. I have tried using 'Inject ATI' in clover, 'LoadVBios' and 'PatchVBios', I have tried modifying the 'info.plist' in AMDradeon7000controller.kext and everything I could find. The screen tearing is unbearable. Please help! Thank you! P.S.: My system is AMD APU A8-4500M, with dual Graphics: 7640G+7670M. Hard Drive 1 TB SATA, 8GB RAM.
  17. Scrambled web video, Yosemite Zone Hi, Apologies if this has been asked and answered (fingers crossed huh!) but I've searched and can't find anything relating to just this. By and large, graphics work completely fine for me, I have full resolution and its generally clear except for a couple of things: on YouTube - or any other web-based video website, the video comes out scrambled with loads of black lines. Video playing on VLC, however, works completely fine. Also the TonyMac website is really difficult to read as I get random red and yellow bars that move around, and the first couple of lines of text on each forum post are really thick, so characters lose their shape. Finally, some previews in Finder have that strange coloration with bits of red and purple - but not all of them. I'm running a self-built PC with an AMD Athlon II X4 620 processor, Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P mobo, and an Asus Nvidia GT-710 graphics card (had the same problem on a GT-210 which I had in before). Booting with nvda_drv=1 GraphicsEnabler=No (doesn't boot when this is yes) npci=0x2000.
  18. Strange problem with Graphics in Sierra Hello, Few days ago I'd installed macOS Sierra on my PC, and now I have very big problem with graphics. Here is the video of my problem:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6T4w2qHNCk So: 1. My main(HDMI) screen doesn't work, I have to use my second VGA screen. 2. When I'm logging in, graphics is glitching and flashing. 3. I can't watch youtube video in fullscreen without flicking. Any solutions? I'm using GTX 650 And I have a nvidia web drivers or something like that. I can change default to Nvidia and it works, but I don't see any change after reboot. I'm sorry for wrong forum category, but I can't find Sierra Support Center. :/

  20. Sapphire Radeon HD 6450 on El Capitan Hi, I am running El Capitan 10.11.6 on my system for a week now and everything works fine (even iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud :D). The only problem is that the OS won't get the right framebuffer for my graphics card. Instead, it's using the default RadeonFramebuffer. QE/CI works though, but I can't play DVDs through the DVD Player app, because then it crashes. I am able to play DVDs through VLC, so it's not a big deal but it annoys me that everything works fine, except that damn framebuffer I've tried putting my Graphicscard's rom in the /Extra Folder with 'Use Ati Rom' enabled, GraphicsEnabler=yes, AtiConfig=Lotus/Muskgrass/Bulrushes, I've tried VGA as well as DVI but it uses RadeonFramebuffer nevertheless: Ricos-iMac:~ rico$ ioreg | grep ATY | | | | +-o ATY,AMD,RadeonFramebuffer@0 <class AtiFbStub, id 0x1000002d3, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (2725 ms), retain 8> | | | | +-o ATY,AMD,RadeonFramebuffer@1 <class AtiFbStub, id 0x1000002d4, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (1 ms), retain 8> | | | | +-o ATY,AMD,RadeonFramebuffer@2 <class AtiFbStub, id 0x1000002d5, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (1 ms), retain 8> My device ID (vendor = 1002, device id = 6779) is in AMDRadeon6000.kext, as well as in AMDRadeonX3000.kext and both are loaded. I'm out of ideas. Anyone that could help me with it? Thanks in advance. My system: MacOS Build: OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 using Enoch r2773 as boot loader and iMac10,1 as smbios CPU: Intel Core2Quad Q6600 Motherboard: unknown, I'm on a NEC Powermate VL280U Small Form Factor computer and the motherboard is produced for or by NEC; the chipset is 82G33/G31 Memory: 4GB DDR2 RAM (2x2GB, 677Mhz) Harddisk: 160GB SATA Graphics: Sapphire Radeon HD 6450 1GB (hdmi, dvi-d, vga)

  22. Acer Aspire 5551 Problems

Acer Aspire 5551 Problems Okay I am a complete noob at this Hackintosh stuff and this is the first time I've ever even tried using it! I have installed it on my Laptop Acer Aspire 5551, I have a handful of issues So I am hoping some knowledgeable people will be able to help me on this, Okay here we go! I tried to install Hackintosh, but when it try to start I get to ACHI:Sleep State: s3 s4 s5 then it doesn't do anything although.... If I plug a flash drive in and remove it. it works (Same for running the OS I have to put a flash drive in when I get to Apple screen or Hackintosh screen and remove it to get any sort of progression? Any ideas? Lol (remember I am a noob) Another issue, it takes literally around 30-45 Minutes for the OS to start (Have to keep moving mouse and clicking etc for it to do anything) Another issue, Wifi doesn't work and last issue I have ran into upto now. Display Graphics are 3mbs. doesn't show any sort of Graphics card just runs at 3mbs... Anyhow I hope somebody contacts me on this one because man, it's annoying to try work something out where it's kind of hard to explain lol (i.e have to add and remove a flash drive (empty or not) to actually start the OS :/ ) Thank you
  23. Low resolution, and boot errors Hi, I recently tried to install Niresh Mavricks on my pc. These are the specs Motherboard: Gigabyte 990X Gaming Processor: AMD Vishera FX-8350 GPU: NVDIA Geforce 1070 Ram: 24 GB Also, on 2 other partitions I have Win 7 and 10 For installing the OS I used /amdfx and npci=0x2000 -v It loads for a few moments and then gives the error "errors encountered while starting up the computer. pausing for 5 seconds". Afterwards I get the option to select my language etc... I formatted a partitition to "os x extended journalied" Then after installing I boot from the USB again and select the partition with OSX on it and boot with npci=0x2000. Also here I get the same error. "errors encountered while starting up the computer. pausing for 5 seconds". Strange thing is, it does boot to the desktop successfully. (After I set up an account of course.) The first problem is that I have a very low resolution. And my monitor supports up to 1920x1080. So I'm guessing it does not recognize my card? I also installed a bootloader, (Chameleon) but when I try to boot from my hard drive it shows boot:0 error. Booting from USB works with the side effect of "errors encountered while starting up the computer. pausing for 5 seconds". So to recap, these are the problems that I have: - Low resolution - "errors encountered while starting up the computer. pausing for 5 seconds". - Can't boot from hard drive because of boot:0 error. (See attachment) Any help would be appreciated! Headhunter123
